Double Decker — Restaurant in San Francisco

I’m writing this so that hopefully the owner sees.

Every time I’ve been there (about 10 times) the place is completely empty. My only explanation is that the food is TERRIBLE.

This is the worst burger I have ever tasted. It is worse than Burger King and McDonald’s. At least they have good fries.

This place uses frozen fries that turn soggy almost immediately. They are flavorless. The buns are awful. Very cheap white bread buns. The burger is also too cheap and soggy tasting. The price is way too high for such a low quality burger.

If they just spent the extra money high quality ingredients, this place would be very popular. Or if you’re going to keep the quality so low, then you must drastically lower the price.

Solid burger spot sitting somewhere between beeps and Wes burger and a lot more mom & pop than both. Doesn’t travel great as the burger tends to be on the juicier side, and the bun on the softer. Not going to win any competitions, but the double decker is a hearty size and is made by someone who knows their burgers. Fries are excellent with a creamy, moist interior and crispy exterior. Could use a little extra salt but they probably do it on purpose so you can choose. The location doesn’t get enough light and is painted dark inside, but don’t let that get you down. Amazing restaurant with very good burgers. They were a good size, so you wouldn't feel hungry afterward. Ingredients tasted super fresh, and the meat was cooked to perfection. I also bought garlic fries, which you can't go wrong with, but they did leave a certain taste in my mouth for a few hours afterward, though. Overall, it's a really good restaurant with reasonable priced food that tastes good and fresh. Was a bit surprised that there weren't any people when I walked in, considering the high quality of the food. Nonetheless, I'm definitely returning here next time I'm in the mood for a...
