Just went to try Double Shot Cafe on 4587 Mission. They have very friendly staff. I am disappointed with their quality and selection of their product though. While I was waiting for my beverage I spotted mold on their banana bread that's kept right next to unpacked cookies. I let the staff know. At first they tried to explain away the mold by saying that it was "the organic stuff." She's correct that mold is organic. I had to physically point it out the moldy corners to the at lady at the register. She then delegated for her colleague to take away the banana cakes. The co-worker said she didn't see anything wrong with them and I again had to show her the corners of the banana cakes. They took away the banana bread but still kept the unpacked cookies that were near the mold in stock. I was in for a second disappointment when I received my beverage finally. I got an Horchata Latte Frappuccino. It was a super super sweet, greasy and absurdly chunky ice mess. There were huge chunks of ice that got stuck in the straw right away. The super saccharine greasy drink was a huge disappointment for the $4.25. After the first few gross sips I threw it away fearing the worse since such a new business is already selling moldy food.

Coffee shop, serving coffee and sandwiches and pastries in the Excelsior area, Mission and Brazil. One person operating the store the few times I’ve been there. The pastry I had todaywas a bit stale. Once my drink was prepared I hanged around seating by the window. You can get some work using the free WIFI provided. You can also enjoy the large patio at the back of the place

Very friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Great coffee- I got an iced latte and it had plenty of espresso, not too diluted! There is a good amount of indoor seating (upbeat music and a bit noisy) and also an outdoor patio (much more tranquil). They also have a printer you can use!

I found this place online and thought it was gonna be one of those super good hole in the wall coffee shops, but I was very disappointed. I got a vanilla latte with an extra shot, it was done in like 2 minutes and tasted like water with foam on top of it, and a touch of vanilla. Couldn’t even taste coffee there’s no way they put that extra shot. Then I tried my empanada, it’s mad dry. The chicken in it is also mad dry. Overall, these people/the owner has no pride or passion in coffee, they’re just a business trying to make money. I respect the hustle, but I don’t respect the lack...

This is a hip little coffee shop amongst a bustling street of other retail businesses. But inside you can cozy up with a hot cup of tea (or my favorite, the prepackaged extra large carton of coconut water) and play some board games. Jenga is extra fun because it's generally quiet so if you lose and make it fall, you feel more self-conscious. More incentive to win! If you win or lose, I recommend the apple tart pastry. If you're okay walking a bit, I've trekked from Glen Park BART through the neighborhood; you pass by some cool views over...
