Princess Bakery — Restaurant in San Francisco

This is a specialty bakery and my parents have gone here over 30 years. I believe it is family owned. As a child when I lived in San Francisco and Daly City, we would go in, there would be elderly gentlemen sitting around the table, drinking coffee, talking (gossiping), laughing and having a good time! The employees were and have always been friendly. I am in my mid 30s now, so since the age of 2 my parents used to special order me their banana cake that was just the top of the cherry to me for my birthdays. They have one of the best Pork buns I ever tasted, most pork buns have very little pork inside, theirs are full. If you go there on a major holiday they sell out early. They also have a cream roll that is delicious. They sell a lot of lottery tickets and have a couple of video screes of live lottery results. At least try out some of their deserts and food, very good prices, pork buns $2 where just down the street, 2.25 to 2.50 and these...

Princess Bakery has really stepped up their pastries game since the remodel. I really enjoy their eclairs and their wonderful fruit tarts. Their traditional Chinese cocktail buns are really tasty as are the egg custard tarts. Also their coffee is quite underrated here in Excelsior, probably as good as Excelsior coffee's drip...
