My first time coming to San Francisco and eating at this restaurant. The first day of eating, the food was okay but the service was slow and the attitude was also normal. The restaurant issues an invoice with the price of the food and 3 types of tip fees for you to choose from: 15%, 18%, and 20%. I choose the price with a 15% tip. Because it was my first time coming to San Francisco, I didn't know many places to eat and came back a second time. This time the service attitude was too bad. They let my family sit for a long time at a dirty table that was not cleaned and then they went to clean another table, we had to move over to where they finished cleaning. We hadn't finished eating when they came and asked to clear the table. This time when I paid, they gave me a handwritten invoice with all capital letters and the price was not the same as on the menu, but because I ate the same food for 2 days, I saw the total amount was the same, so I thought they had already calculated the tip fee. They even came to remind us to leave when we had just paid. When we left, a waitress told me I hadn't tipped yet and demanded an extra $10 in a very loud attitude. I said I thought I already gave them a tip but she said I didn't and asked for another $10. I didn't want to argue so I paid them extra. I heard that from July 1, restaurants are no longer allowed to force customers to tip like that. It's not a lot of money, but the service attitude is really bad and cheating customers doesn't...

For someone who has quite deep Cantonese roots, this food was honestly meh. In the 21st century terms…. the food was honestly mid. While I had enjoyed the food overall some dishes were just either too salty or not salted enough. I did like the sauciness of the dishes we chose, though.
Service: 2/5 For being a Christmas night at 6pm, reserving a spot wasn’t really so bad. However, upon entering, no one really helped us, let alone helping my grandma. What really ticked me off was the fact that they never really checked up on us despite the fact that we were busy. The dishes came up late despite the fact other people got seated a little later and still got their food faster than we did. We didn’t get our tip back, and barely the servers nudged a word (although we were expecting that they wouldn’t give it back to us anyways)… and honestly i wished that a little bit of communication was given to us.
Atmosphere: 3/5 It was really crowded for dinner time… which isn’t surprising. However, people left and right were looking at us in a weird way, as if we didn’t know what was going on, which I did not like.
Maybe i would come again, just not at dinner time… because the service that was given to us really did not meet my expectations… at least this time. Who knows if it will later on...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I’ve been to this place many times, every time if I spoke English to the waitresses they treated me very well. Last week when I went there for lunch I for the first time spoke Chinese Mandarin and I was treated very badly. First for lunch special they asked me to pay more for a cup of milk tea though it’s written on the board at the door that milk tea or coffee is free with lunch special. Later I found out the lunch special was the same dish on the menu, though name was different - and it’s 1 dollar cheaper if you order it from the menu. On the final check, the waitress overcharged me with a tax rate of over 20%. There’s nothing stated on the check what other fees were included. All you got was a number handwritten on a piece of paper. I refused to give tips as they didn’t give me a free milk tea. But the waitress wouldn’t let me go. After I gave the tip, the waitress started to curse at me in Cantonese and tried to ask other customers around to humiliate me. I left in fury. I’ll never go back to this place and I’ll ask all my friends not to go. It’s a shame in Chinatown for a place of discrimination, bad service,...
