Hilda's Mart & Bake Shop — Restaurant in San Francisco

My family loves this place and wanted me to bring desserts. I have never personally ordered from here, but I read previous reviews and already knew it would be hard to get through, but I tried anyway. I called 3 times when they first opened, but got a message with their business hours. After a few minutes, I tried again, and the line was busy. Finally, after my 6th or 7th attempt, I got through but was immediately put on hold. I was on hold for 5 min, and then I was able to place my order. On the day of pick up, there was no parking. So definitely go with someone so that you're not circling the area. When I went inside, there was a line and no one at the register. It took a while, but it was finally my turn. The yellow bean HOPIA served at my sister in law's funeral was the BEST hopia I ever had. I tried looking for it in LA but other's don't even fair with it. I called to order mailed hopia but they don't have this service. I asked relatives to buy when they will visit me, yet to no avail. Hopia is the best and what their known for, but their management and operations practice is very sub-par. As a fellow Filipino American entrepreneur who owns several successful businesses, it saddens me to see how Hildas bake shop has cracks in the customer service aspect, frequent rising product rates, and constant product shortage.
