Recently placed a food order with specific details of how food needed to be individual plated into to-boxes to avoid contact with the food serving utensils (COVID19 reasons) and request was not follow by anyone from this restaurant. Food was ordered for 110 people and we got food for 60 people. Protein (beef-chicken) rice and salad were limited, just not for 110 people. Food was delivered late and missing half of the order so a second delivery arrived 15 minutes later. Owners of the restaurant did not accepted their failure, they even said that they gave us extra food, I work on the food industry as well so it’s to hard to fool me with the nonsense of “extra food”. I understand we all are experiencing very difficult times right now but the service/food experience of this restaurant it is...

The combo shawarma wrap was good except the meat was sliced kind of thick and I prefer it thin sliced. If had a lot of lettuce, etc which I liked. I asked them to put harissa inside the wrap, which they did not do. The chocolate baklava was outstanding! The tabouli was horrible, very little grain and too much parsley and was soggy. They used a thin plastic bag which is illegal in SF (I told her I had my own bag which she ignored) and the baklava and tabouli were in plastic. She also put plastic cutlery in the bag without asking if I wanted it. I work in the neighborhood, probably won't go back.(except maybe for chocolate baklava!) Pretty...

Surprisingly delicious! We got the falafel, combo gyro plate, Mediterranean mixed plate, lemon hazelnut Turkish delight and the kunefe. This was our first time trying Mediterranean food and definitely a go to when we visit San Francisco again. Osmon at the counter was helpful with our questions, the service was very fast, and the establishment was clean. Falafel was so good and the Mediterranean mixed plate was a good choice to try a little bit of everything. Very flavorful. The kunefe was interesting. Cheese and the sweet syrup together left me palette confused but I ate the whole thing. We asked what he recommended and we were not...

Had a quick lunch where we saw a line forming out front. The very personable man behind the counter helped answer some questions about their menu. I ended up with the lamb gyro in a wrap, spices and sauces popped. My significant other got the chicken shish kebab plate, a colorful arrangement of a mildly dressed salad complimented the spice on the perfectly cooked chicken. The hummus was very fresh. After compliments to the chef, the same man provided us with some Turkish Tea, so we listened to a violin busker outside of the Whole Foods and enjoyed the brisk early September air. 10/10

Mesopotamia Restaurant: A Culinary Journey Through Mediterranean Flavors Walking into Mesopotamia is like stepping into a vibrant culinary oasis. The restaurant buzzes with energy, and the staff is friendly and prompt , every minute anticipating your meal is absolutely worthwhile. Culinary Highlights The menu is a delightful exploration of Mediterranean cuisine. Standout dishes include: • Perfectly grilled chicken shish kabobs • Tender, aromatic shawarma • Freshly prepared hummus that melts in your mouth • Hot, pillowy pita bread straight from the oven
