All of the instructors are great and very nice. What I don’t understand is how the class credits that I purchased can “expire”. This violates the federal CARD Act. The federal CARD Act (Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act) prohibits expiration periods of less than five years and the California Gift Certificate Law. This applies to class credits. I purchased 10 classes and was not made aware that they would “expire” after 30 days. I lost a lot of money just because I didn’t use all 10 class credits in 30 days. This is a complete money grab. Especially considering that people have lives and life happens, people get sick or injured and can’t go to class but feel pressured to because they will be flushing $35 down the drain if their credit expires. Pure Barre on 24th Street has quickly become one of my favorite places in San Francisco. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel incredibly welcome — the vibe is positive, supportive, and genuinely community-driven. The studio is clean, bright, and beautifully maintained.
The instructors are next-level. They’re not only highly trained but also super motivating, and they take the time to help you get the most out of every class. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, each session is thoughtfully structured and offers a challenging, low-impact full-body workout. I always leave feeling stronger, more centered, and totally recharged.
If you're looking for a fitness studio that combines great energy, strong community, and real results, this is it. Thank you, Pure Barre SF 24th Street — you’ve got a loyal...

I could not lean forward and my left front hip flexor would ache all the time. I decided to really give barre a try, and slowly, with increased strength from consistent workouts, I saw improved mobility and the pain began to lessen. I now feel "out of the woods" and can move mostly like a normal person again. The environment feels safe, clean, and all the instructors are excellent. And I love working...
