This was the first and last time my mom and I were ever going to buy food at "Nar Doner N Grill" in Stonestown. My mom was the one who wanted to try out their food because the food looked delicious on the pictures displayed on the menu. So she ordered the "Chicken Doner Salad," and after seeing the picture on the menu that they had of the "Lamb Beef Doner Plate," it immediately caught my attention, because the food looked delicious displayed on the menu. Since it had been quite a while since I had not eaten lamb beef, even though it was a bit expensive, I said to myself, what the heck, it's lamb beef! So I ordered it. Unfortunately, when we received our orders, it was nothing like it was displayed on the menu. My lamb beef was not at all a freshly cooked lamb beef, like it was displayed on the menu picture. Instead, it was an OLD OVERCOOKED LAMB BEEF! The lamb beef was VERY DRY, and HARD, with NO FLAVOR, chopped up in little pieces over white rice with an AWFUL SALAD that had an AWFUL SOUR SALAD DRESSING on it! When my mom tried her "Chicken Doner Salad," she said that the chicken had an AWFUL SEASONING FLAVOR to it, so much so that she could not eat that chicken salad because the entire dish tasted awful! The only good thing that was delicious was the lavish, which looked like a tortilla that was sliced in small pieces. I also must admit that the cashier was a kind, friendly man. But unfortunately, the cook, now that guy, is a different story. Not only did he look unpleasant, but he was also the awful cook/chef who cooked for us that awful food that was not worth the price! In fact, that food belonged in the trash! Because who knows how old that lamb beef he served me was, for it to be so hard, dry, and tasteless! The same goes for the awful seasoned chicken salad that my poor mom was not able to eat because just tasting it made her...
Read moreI tried this place for the first time and was a little nervous because I’ve never had Turkish food and there wasn’t anyone in line but I am SO happy I gave them a shot! I tried the chicken wrap and it was so bomb, I went back the next day and got another chicken wrap and tried a gozleme. Only bummer was that it was supposed to be the ground beef one and I received the chicken one, but it was super yummy! The guy working the counter was super friendly as well. I wish more of these places existed because I don’t live in the area and I’m already craving it again! Please open more locations near...
Read moreOh my gosh the lady that takes your order is so nice. You can tell it's a small business so I feel even better eating here. Considering that you are in SF and even McDonald's will be more expensive here, their prices are actually really reasonable. 13 dollars for the Lamb Beef Diner wrap combo. That meat is sooooo delicious and it comes with choice of side. I got the hummus which comes with 2 pieces of flat bread. That was also delicious and I wish they would sell just the flatbread and hummus. At any rate I would give this place more than 5 stars and dare I say one of the best values...
