Oki is okay but nothing really stands out or elevates this place. The interior kinda lacks charm and comes across as more functional. The staff is not Chinese and lack the attention of detail which you would receive in a Japanese restaurant. On the food The scallop and tuna Nigri were nice whereas the Squid could be improved. It was a bit chewy. Scoring the squid a bit deeper and let the lemon juice penetrate longer would resolve that. The rolls were alright but after a few bites they all had the same taste and it was rather difficult to distinguish one bite from another. There was one moment where I actually was made uncomfortable by the staff. So I ordered more ginger and when the waiter made the request to the two guys at the sushi bar, they started to look over, laugh and speak in Hokkien and continue to laugh towards me. Strange I thought, focus on improving your sushi skills would be time better spent versus making your customers regret that they came in .

Best sushi place in Noe, probably best in SF, I might even say best in California. The food here is always top tier, and the service is outstanding. There is limited space in front so call ahead to make sure they have room. They also have a back room for private parties or on busy days. The head chef Danny, his side chef Lu, and the head waitress Iris have always treated me very well and I have always been pleased with my experiences here. COVID Update: Thank goodness that Oki is still doing take out and delivery, both on the phone and through DoorDash. I would not make it through the pandemic without them. Slightly different hours, maybe like 4-9 now, but still there top quality nigiri.

SO glad this place finally opened! The location has been empty for 10 months or so after the previous restaurant moved out. Sushi is our thing (literally every Sunday) and we couldn't be happier to have a new favorite spot right around the corner! We had miso soup, the bacon enoki skewer special, the salmon skin roll, the jalapeño roll, the beauty and the beast roll, and the TNT roll - all were so delicious I almost forgot to take pictures before we finished them! The fish is fresh, our server was sweet, the restaurant is nicely decorated, and the bathrooms are super clean. What more can you ask for! Can't wait to go back to try the whole grilled squid.

A bit small and crowded but wow! What a great dinner we had here.

We ordered a wide selection of rolls to try (about 10 - leftovers were enjoyed for lunch the next day).

A creative variety of rolls. Including less common ingredients like jalapeno, lobster, walnuts and fresh mango. A variety of sauces that were used to enhance but never overwhelm the roll.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Everything presented was a pleasure.

Btw, the OMG roll was really OMG. That just right combination of flavors made me soooo happy!

The beer was cold and the sake was just the right level of hot.

The service was excellent.

We had a goldilocks experience - everything...
