Do you have a small dog? If yes, you should definitely check out Walter Hass! Fenced in small dog park! Lots of cute, small friendly dogs. BRING POOP BAGS AND A JACKET! This park is often windy and cold! No free poop bags unlike the Mission Bay dog park. I find that the best time to go is 11-12 or an hour before sunset. Parking is easy!

Enclosed dog park meant for the smaller guys but when the larger Upper Douglass Dog Park is closed for the winter, this place becomes a free for all!

Love this dog park! It's a good size and is in a nice area. I like that it has fake grass because it keeps the park (and my dog) clean.

Our regular spot when we don’t feel like getting muddy/dusty, and when Upper Douglass is closed.

Pros: not too big, not to small. Turf, not dirt or dirt. Sunny. There’s always dogs. Owners nearly always clean up after their dogs. Regular maintenance. Mostly responsible attentive owners.

Cons: the dog sitters. There are a handful of sitters that come in with 5 or 6 dogs apiece. It’s hard for them to keep an eye on all the dogs at once so it can get rowdy and some dogs go unsupervised. Thankfully, they usually come at a consistent time (around 9:30am on weekdays) so it’s fairly east to avoid the rush.

Note: it seems to get more crowded here in the winter when Upper Douglass is closed...

Love this dog park!! Just what I need, small fenced-in turf ground with very nice people and dogs. Wish they would clean it completely like the notice says they are going to. Frequently left over dog poop all over the turf. Everyone is great at pick up after their dogs but often you cannot get it all and after a day a week or a few weeks, this is all over and ruins this beautiful dog park. The dog water fountain is never cleaned and is often not draining. Very nasty but dogs need water and drink it. Love this great park just clean all the park weekly as indicated. ALSO, lights for evening dog play would be a great addition for safety for all dogs and...

A great place to bring your dog for some socialization. It’s fully enclosed and astro-turfed with a couple simple amenities like a dog water station that actually works, and easy access to garbage cans. If you are very sensitive to smell, be warned: it does tend to have an odor from all the dogs, but is rather clean. The professional dog walkers that come here in the early afternoon are friendly, helpful, and know their dogs well. In the later afternoon the park fills with locals. My corgi always has a...
