I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While I was looking forward to enjoying my meal, I found a hair in the food — which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic.

When I informed the staff, they only offered to replace the dish. There was no sincere apology or real concern shown. It took another 5 to 10 minutes for the new plate to arrive, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable.

To make things worse, when the check arrived, there was no discount or compensation offered for such an unpleasant experience. It felt like they just wanted to brush the issue aside and move on.

Finding a hair in your food is bad enough, but the lack of proper customer service and accountability made it even worse. I expected better standards from this place. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back or recommending...

Such amazing food! We absolutely loved our ramen. The vegetarian one was light on the tummy and still heartwarming-ly filling. Goma ae went wonderfully with our ramen but I wish the sauce on it was not so sweet and the dish was garnished with some burnt garlic and crushed peanuts. Kirakucho sake though expensive was so unique, hitting a different note on the tongue through every part of the sip! We would love to be back at this place to try their huge sushi menu!! Edit: Went again and this time tried the sushi. The vegan sushi was soooo good! Nigori and sho-yune sake were both super delicious. The vegetable udon was pretty similar to the ramen, but I learned that both the udon and ramen broths are NOT vegetarian. I really wish they included vegan/vegetarian broth options...

it's best to pay by credit card, because the waiter will steal all your money, and bring it in then bring out the container and say it's only money, and will arrest them We paid again, and I asked to see the camera the manager and she put it together and they said I can't see it but I asked to call the police and they said maybe there was a mistake and asked sorry but i feel offended because so many people look at me and they think i eat without paying, i regret choosing to eat there, and the owner seems to be as greedy as the waitress, because we called him on the phone and he yelled and finished, I didn't feel like a restaurant but more like an organized fraud...

We were fortunate enough that this place was only a five minute walk from our hotel. It was relatively empty on a Sunday evening so, our service was pretty great. We started with the miso soup which was quite delicious. The flavor was rich and umami. My husband ordered the soft shell crab and could not stop raving about it. I ordered the Little Angel & Hamachi avocado rolls. My husband ordered the four and four, OMG roll and Unagi. The sushi roll cuts were perfect! (For me at least). I have a small mouth and find myself not being able to eat a lot of rolls. Every bite I ate was so delicious. And the same for my husband. I only wish we were locals so we could come back.

Not a picky eater by any means but I couldn’t take more than 1 bite of the lion king roll without gagging. I wasn’t expecting to get a baked California roll smothered inside and out with orange mayonnaise. It didn’t have any other flavor except cooked mayo and nothing about the photo or description mentioned it being 90% mayo. 3 stars because I appreciate the staff comping it but even after confirming that I ordered the right thing the server was insistent that I should have known what I ordered. I don’t see how I possibly could have known I was ordering a log of orange mayonnaise based on that photo and description of their menu.
