Palmyra is a Syrian culinary treasure, serving exceptional kibbeh, a vibrant mezze plate, and an exquisite kunafa dessert. The kibbeh, Syriaâs national dish, is a masterpieceâperfectly spiced lamb and bulgur balls, fried to a golden crisp with a tender, flavorful core that bursts with aromatic depth. Palmyraâs commitment to authenticity shines through in every bite, making it unforgettable. The mezze plate is a delightful medley, featuring creamy hummus, zesty fattoush, and smoky baba ghanoush, all paired with warm, freshly baked pita. The interplay of textures and tangy seasonings creates a true Levantine feast. The star, however, is the kunafaâa heavenly dessert of shredded phyllo layered with gooey cheese, soaked in rosewater-infused syrup, and sprinkled with pistachios. Its perfect balance of sweetness and texture is pure bliss. Palmyraâs warm, Syrian-inspired ambiance enhances the experience, making every visit feel like a cultural embrace. For anyone seeking authentic Syrian cuisine, Palmyraâs kibbeh, mezze plate, and kunafa are must-tries that deliver joy and flavor in every mouthful. This is a destination that celebrates Syriaâs rich culinary heritage with passion...

I had the pleasure of dining at Palmyra in San Francisco, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the customer service was equally impressive.
The Dishes: The flavors were authentic and rich, with everything cooked to perfection. The grilled chicken was tender and flavorful, the lentil soup was perfectly spiced, and the kabobs were juicy and seasoned just right. The hummus was creamy with a delightful hint of sumac, and the fresh cucumber-tomato salad balanced the meal beautifully. Every dish was plated with care and served fresh.
Customer Service: The staff (Br Yasir) was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They were quick to accommodate requests and made us feel like valued guests.
Ambiance: The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting environment, perfect for a casual dinner or a special gathering.

Read moreI would definitely come back here and get the falafel wrap again! Great combination of flavors and textures, very enjoyable. I ordered online for pickup and made a note about my allergy; the man behind the cash register was good about checking in with me about this and making sure I felt secure in my order. I could tell the service is very friendly and personable. I was in a rush to something so couldnât engage in a chat but if I had time, I probably would have. Lots of indoor seating, a bit of outdoor seating.
Just a note to the business: if you can make your signage any bigger or more visible, especially being on a corner, I think it would bring more business! I was following Google maps and still walked right past it and then had to backtrack because the signage wasnât very visible to me. Another friend who frequents this area said sheâs been around a lot of places and never knew a Mediterranean place was nearby. Yâall have great food- advertise more boldly...
