I ordered a couple of large mochas and noticed the lady making my mochas only put in a couple half pumps of chocolate so I asked her if she was making the mochas and she said yes. I tasted both of them before I left the store. Sure enough the mochas were very weak in chocolate flavor. I asked her if she could add a couple more pumps of chocolate and she said “if you wanted more chocolate you could have asked for more chocolate.” Just then the other lady took the cups and put one more pump in while the lady who was supposed to make them with three pumps continued to say she put in three pumps. The one that put in one more pump also chimed in and yelled to me as I was walking out the door, “that’s what we do here, we put in 3 pumps”. These two women are transgender and they don’t need to be defensive or have such attitude towards customers. All they had to do was say, sorry, let me add some more chocolate instead of taking it personally. Everyone I speak to will be told what a horrible experience it was. I come to this Peet’s twice a week and twice this week my mochas were with not much chocolate. I love to see trans people at public jobs but with attitudes that are nice and welcoming, not defensive and rude and making the customers feel that it was...
Read moreSometimes rude staff & large dogs allowed here. Went to this Peets coffee shop and while one worker looked confused & stuck just standing there while helping guy in front of me, another worker just stood there doing nothing in front of another register while line forming. Then, the idle worker suddenly wakes up and asks what I want. I order a black coffee large that costs $3.60 according to menu on wall, but he says $3.69 is due, Its only 9 cents extra I say, but where does the extra 9 cents come from? He says "I dont really know" Then a smug young girl walks over and I ask same question, where did the extra 9 cents come from? Its just the principle of the issue. She just shrugs her sholders and makes a face. What a slow, overpriced, rude place. I could go to Burger King or a 7-11 and get more friendly and swift service than Peets. Also, they allow people to bring in dogs no matter how big, and they sometimes drool on floor, scratch fleas, and put wet noses on chairs, store items, or peoples pants. This morning a couple of dogs started barking at eachother inside coffee shop. Inconsiderate dog owners allowed in Peets all the time, health...
Read moreThe lady at the register was rude and very unkept like she rolled out of bed. Caucasian girl w half dark and blonde hair. I was asking her about the milk options and wanted a healthy option but she didn’t know much about them (which is fine) as I mentioned I wanted a healthy option she just had a blank gaze stare like stop talking to me. I wanted an ice latte and I had NOT mentioned that so when my warm latte got there I expressed “hey sorry I wanted an ice latte and It was my fault” which they made but when she announced my name rolled her eyes so hard. It’s like c’mon what are you in grade school? My table top was not clean either. The manager should do some training on customer service and hygiene. I just moved down the street and will take my business elsewhere from now on. Peet’s if you want to continue to upset guests and lose money keep on how...
