Ordering was initially confusing. Walked inside without being acknowledged by a soul (no employee engagement while we walked around looking lost). Walked to the kiosk & saw it was for to-go only. Glanced at the table & saw a QR code with instructions to order via that. Found a place to sit, scanned the code with our phone, & the rest is history!

šŸ• Best pizza place I’ve been to in the Bay Area. Cheesy, crispy (almost burnt at the edges) pepperoni pizza reminiscent of how pizza used to be made right. The Crispy Brussels & Monkey bread were a nice surprise. All three items were an absolute win.

What to expect from the service: (1) find an open table (2) order & pay digitally (via QR code) (3) food came out hot & fresh as it was made. (4) You don’t have a traditional server (more a delivery person who walks food from kitchen to table, then departs), so had to wave someone down for waters & some napkins.

Atmosphere wasn’t great. Loved the view but a large delivery truck parked out front blaring its engine…for the ENTIRE DURATION of our meal…had our party yelling just to converse with each other. As we were on the outside table (#7), that aspect of the dining experience was extremely unpleasant. Driver could have at least saved the environment a little & taken his truck out of idle while making his stocking delivery.

Overall: the food was incredible. So even with the negative aspects of the experience I would...

I feel like the high star reviews are loyal clients of the Mission Street location. Don't get me wrong the food here is great. But to call this a full service restaurant and expect people to tip 20% is not fair. This feels like a McDonald's. I am not opposed to self ordering. However, if I am at what is marketed as a restaurant someone should check to see how my meal is, offer me a to go box and clear my table. I have received all these services at Carl's, Jr. and they do not accept tips. This Squared Pie Guys expects you to order yourself without anyone greeting you. People sit there waiting for a server and after minutes of waiting either leave or go to the front to order and the staff tell them to order with their phone. Then you need to get your own water and own boxes. Then there are signs to bus and clean your own table. I've never seen a business that has a bucket and spray of disinfectant expecting the client to clean their table. They should stick to to go service, because they do not understand the hospitality industry. They should also take away the...

I saw this on TikTok and had it saved for the next time my kids wanted pizza. There was no line. We were also able to park right on the street. (We were here on a Saturday around 5pm - during All Star Weekend)

The pizzas are about $22-$25 each or more.

We got the pepperoni pizza. I made a create my own because I wanted Hawaiian. We also got a side of French fries which were just under $10.

I got a side of ranch for $1.75 (it was nasty and didn’t eat it - I think it was a dill ranch)

We waited at the bar for a table while our food was being cooked. Luckily a table opened up before our food came. They do have outdoor seating with heat lamps - but my kids wanted to eat inside.

The service was friendly and efficient. The pizza was really good. We will definitely be back.

We had left overs to take home.

Check it out if you are in the area. šŸ•

Update from my visit August 2025 - the food is still great. The staff is not very inviting and not welcoming. I will still come back for the food - not...
