Super Duper Burgers — Restaurant in San Francisco

I was soooo happy to find this place :) I had heard some rumblings about it for a couple weeks and was going to stop by on my way back from Mountain View, but unfortunately my ride had to drop me off like 1+ miles away :( she drops me off and BAM, there was ANOTHER Super Duper.

Atmosphere

Not quite fast food, but not total sit down either. The upstairs area was cool and felt very open and inviting, kinda like a brew pub, but without the yeast smell.

Food

The burger was pretty much amazing. A little greasy, but super fresh, great texture and an amazing taste. I got bacon and cheese on my 8oz burger with sauteed onions and the secret sauce.

I got the normal fries with the 3 dips, but wasn't sold on any of the dips. The fries were fresh cut and fried to perfection with just a touch of salt. I'd stick with them as-is, perhaps with a little Ketchup.

Service

The staff was super friendly and chatty, but not in a "up in your grill" sort of way.

Value

A little on the pricey side (~$14) by the time I got a burger, fries, and a drink but worth it for a...

Although my trip to Super Duper was not as expected, I thought the price for the burgers I got and fries was way off - and I couldn't believe a place like this doesn't have a soda/pop machine that dispenses the soft drink on a par with McD's. That said, the service was outstanding, the place was very clean, and it was nice ambiance. To top it off the original note I wrote was responded to by management. I highly appreciate that. So, here's a list of what to do:

1.) Fix the soda/pop machines so that the soft drinks are not flat! (I know they need constant attention, that's why it costs so much.) 2.) Taste test your Fries, wow, the Garlic ones I got were loaded with grease and under cooked, two things to be very careful of when cooking french fries. 3.) I have no idea why the burger I got was as bad as it was, kinda like chewing cardboard - seems like these should be taste tested as well, but that's not something I can figure out as I don't know what you did to create them.

I been here during late night when I was craving for a burger while I was very hungry. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a line, but I did not mind it since I needed some time to decide what to get since it was my first time here in general. Finally it was my turn to order and I was met with one of their welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs that made the process a quick and easy one. I decided to order to go since my friend was waiting in the car where parking was not the best option in the area due to the overall safety. Everything was made to order which is the way I like it and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Luckily I still captured a photo of my order even though I conquered my burger in a minute or two due to hunger. I highly recommend this place to all burger enthusiasts, if you are looking to try something new or in need of a quick bite just like me.
