Man this was good tea! I got the lil giraffe and my sister got the Thai tea. I was unsure of what mine would be like since cake is an ingredient. It’s essentially just cake flavored tea. No weird consistency at all! The cups are bigger than they look so the price isn’t bad either. The straws they used did have a strange taste (they’re a paper variety) so I’d opt for one of their other straw options next time. An older review on Google says they don’t have dairy free options but that isn’t true anymore. Some of the items on the menu do say they can’t be substituted. They have soy, almond, and oat milk though. I wish I was able to get more aesthetic pictures for the review but with COVID they only allow 1 party in at a time so I wanted to grab the tea and get out. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in SF.

A welcome addition to the Lower Haight. The space is small, but they make good use of the space with counter seats if you want to stay and chat with friends. The menu on the wall is nicely laid out and I like their white tiling. The cake batter drinks surprised me and I’m a fan. The owner says you can literally take it and bake it if you add an egg to the batter and mix it up. There’s no egg in the batter for the drinks of course, but you get the idea for the taste. The Camouflage (matcha + golden cake batter) and Lil’ Giraffe (black tea + golden cake batter) were my favorites so far.

When I visited, the store had no seating and had closed their restrooms to customers, not sure if this is a usual thing. I ordered from an iPad, I liked that it had photos & an in-depth description of all the different tea options. My friend got the Oreo Matcha & I got the Lil’ Giraffe. It was pretty good, I was surprise they didn’t already come with the traditional boba ($0.75 additional charge). My friend’s was better, I didn’t taste much of the cake batter maybe due to my 75% sweetness instead of 100%? I wouldn’t recommend the Lil’ Giraffe, I’m sure there other options are better.

Tea and Others delivered a bulk order for our wedding. We chose regular milk tea and strawberry matcha at 50% sweetness and everyone at the wedding raved about the bubble tea. It was so popular, that we didn’t even get a chance to get a bubble tea since they ran out so quickly due to high demand. But it’s testament to how delicious and perfect the drinks were on a warm day. It’s a bit logistically challenging delivering drinks that are cold at the right time, where the ice doesn’t dilute the drink, but the drinks aren’t pre-frozen (damaging the quality of the boba) and Tea and Others did such an amazing job. I would highly recommend them for you next get-together. We’re so grateful to the Tea and Others team for making our day extra special.

Huge thank you to Connie and the team!

With love and...
