TOGO'S Sandwiches — Restaurant in San Francisco

Ordered from GrubHub and the order arrived completely wrong. Sandwiches lacked any condiments (literally just meat and bread). When called Togo's main customer service, we were directed away to the individual store. When called individual store, the manager told us to bring our sandwiches to the store to get new ones... After we paid extra for delivery... The manager refused any kind of refund or a new meal and proceeded to say a) the order printed out wrong (even though the receipt that came with the meal was completely accurate) and that b) GrubHub was to blame for having the wrong menu for saying the 5 Turkey & Cranberry sandwich came with anything besides literally turkey, a little cranberry, and bread (same went for the other sandwiches). Then called GrubHub, who was extraordinarily helpful and provided a full refund. They also happened to mention that Togo's recently updated their menu on GrubHub a few months ago.

I wanted to grab a sandwich and this location was nearby so I just go ahead and order one. The environment was clean overall. There were some sitting areas the table seems like the tables weren’t really wiped down, so it took me a couple try to find clean table. The cashier was very nice and it seems like he was the only person that’s inside. He finished my order pretty fast, which I always appreciate.

The sandwich itself was a little bit disappointing. The bug was very oily and soft and thin. So when I open it, I can tell like the oil kind of just went through the whole bun and it kind of destroyed it. The pastrami in the inside was kind of salty. And we asked for lettuce and tomatoes, but they served it on the side instead of putting it in the bun I understand but it’s also a little bit inconvenient especially I’m trying to eat it on the go.

I think there is definitely a room for improvement and if they can change the bun, it can be...

This is my very first review ever. I took the time to write this review to let people know how rude some of the staff are. After years of telling me that this is the best sandwich place in SF, my husband took me to this Togo’s today. While we were looking at the menu on the wall, male Latino staff, after staring at me whispered something to the Latina staff then both started smirking and smiling while looking at me. I felt so uncomfortable, embarrassed and hurt. I was bullied as a kid and it brought back the feeling of insecurity when other kids made fun of me. I wanted to just leave the restaurant but I didn’t want to ruin my husband’s day. We had our order to-go instead of our original plan to dine in. I will never spend a single cent at this store again. You don’t make fun of people giving you job particularly ones who are just minding their own life. I’d spend my money to kind, compassionate and...
