Neighborhood gem! The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. There are several different variations to try. They all come on pillowy-soft bolillo rolls that are baked continuously throughout the day. I'm never here late enough to have lunch, but the options look tempting. Everything is consistently fresh. The selections in the pastry display case seem to change periodically. If you see the pineapple empanadas, you better grab a few. Flaky crust, filling isn't too sweet, just right. Brush up on your Spanish. I've only once been helped by someone who spoke English. It's not a problem for me, but others may find some difficulty. Well worth the extra effort on your part!

Straight from the motherland to the public. Their breakfast is not shy. Hitting you with flavors and using simple combinations, you're in for a humble, unforgettable experience. Skip the egg /potato breafast sandwich combo and make way for egg, black bean purè, and fresh cheese breakfast sandwich. Did I mention you can also order fried chicken and potatos? (My new favorite) You can order a breakfast sandwich with spicy, herb sausage (longaniza) or marinated pork (adobada) as well 😘 La joya de la área de la Bahía con sus desayunos ricos, atmosphera bendecido, y rico ambiente de trabajadores y trabajadoras amables.

If anyone is looking for real authentic Central American food this is a must you must check out their menu and the thing that we just can't get enough of because our family or rather we have family members that can make them which is not an easy thing to accomplish but the Guatemalan tamales are to die for! They are always so courteous and respectful to all of their customers! Parking can be a little tricky but it's well worth the effort! This is a family-owned business and the family always makes everyone feel welcomed! Wishing them continued success! Yes I buy tamales from different restaurants throughout the city and have my entire life and I've been in San Francisco for more than a half-century and even though there are some delicious tamales in other restaurants they don't get close to what you're going...

All the female employee here are all bitter and (hate to say this but) dumb. I had to repeat my order to the cashier lady literally like 15 times and they still messed up my dad's order twice. We tried ordering about 4 different plate orders from the menu and they kept saying they did t have it anymore. They charged me for 3 meals which was OVER $50 and then came back to tell me that they didn't have some of the items on the order they had already charged us for. What a waste of time, money, and patience at this place. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The only person who was cool and trying to help the restaurant run smoothly was the younger tall gentlemen who had to help all the female employees...
