Lux Tea Lounge — Restaurant in San Gabriel

A sweet tongue, a mischievous mind, a playful heart and a loving soul. Wouldn’t that be an amazing combination? Without further ado let’s do this boba tea review. Lux Tea Lounge is a new bubble tea shop place that offer one of the best teas in SGV. Their teas are imported from Taiwan. Indoor atmosphere has a lounge club vibe with spacious floors, leather black couches, coffee tables, and disco strobe lights. Moreover, they offer board games and cards for customers. Their drink/food menu can be access through QR code. Brilliant! Order counter was neat and well lit. I ordered a Popcorn chicken and HEARTBREAKER, a concoction of passion fruit and strawberry green tea with lychee bits and passion fruit jelly. What can I say it reflects my personality…lol. Just Kidding! ;D 100% ice and 75% sweetness. Popcorn chicken was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Heartbreaker drink was perfect just the way I like it. Prices were very affordable and competitive. Service was on point and mildly fast. Staff were polite, competent and followed health protocol. Rear Parking lot available. Lux Tea lounge has a potential to be great. I suggest that they add more flair to their modest interior decor, lighting and layout. Overall, I enjoyed my food/tea and service. I definitely recommend...

Looking for new place to play board games or hang out with friends after dinner? Or get bored hanging out at Tea Station or AU79? You should definitely try to visit Lux Tea Lounge. This place used to be a famous “The Red Rose Club” nightclub. They have closed down during the pandemic and now became a tea lounge. It is a genius idea to turn a nightclub into a tea lounge! This is a very large tea house with a very good ambience just like a hotel lounge without alcohol. They have very comfy chairs and fancy lighting. The drink here is surprising good and they are using a tea brewing machine to make their tea drinks. This is a perfect place to go hand out and play board games with friends.

Ordered a Ruby Milk Black Tea with less ice, 75% sweet, and boba. Only one size (large?) but was more than enough to drink. Tastes pretty good, doesn't feel watered down, boba was warm and still soft/chewy. Their boba are the smaller type. Priced consistent with large cup from other shops.

Location is close to nearby plazas in the area so it's somewhat easy and difficult to find at the same time. It's not part of any plaza but you won't miss the large parking area they have so that helps. It has a nightclub vibe with purple lighting throughout and chill music in the background. Not too busy at the moment, probably because they haven't had a grand opening yet. More customers actually walked in right after I took a video of the inside.
