Came here at 9:30 near closing, most of the stuff was gone. We got a pain aux raisins, an egg tart, and a croquette.
My favorite was the egg tart, it was still crispy and flaky eod and I liked the mild not too sweet custardy egg interior. The croquetteās breading was satisfyingly crunchy, the filling however was a little dry and there were hard bits of maybe mushroom inside that were unpleasant to chew. The pain aux raisins was greasy, not flaky or pillowy. Overall just okay.
Interior was clean and spacious, good place to relax, and it was fun to look around at everything. I liked the carabiner-mug handles on display, they were pretty cool.
As for the labels on the display case, I appreciate the ingredients and calories on them, but many were mislabeled/unlabeled and just thrown around randomly sometimes.
Also, many ingredient lists mention āshorteningā but not whether it is vegetarian or animal based, which is cause for concern for people with dietary standards. I asked a staff member and he didnāt know either.
I would really appreciate knowing the source of your shortening so my shopping experience is more streamlined.
Additionally, we asked for our pastries to be heated up thinking it would crisp up the pastries to be in an oven, but they were just microwaved.
Overall, a 4/10; Iād bump it up to a 6/10 if I knew the source of the shortening, because I didnāt see that the croquettes had shortening until after I ate one since the ingredient list was so low in the case and hard to read. I ended up looking online, itās nice that they have it listed there, but I would love a division between vegetarian/animal based products.
May stop by again early morning to get the full ambience of the place and more options plus freshly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGet ready for some serious carb-loading, because Tous Les Jours has arrived in the Westgate West center! This bright and airy bakery is conveniently nestled right next to the beloved Trader Joe's. You'll have no problem finding a spot thanks to the ample parking (for now, at leastālet's hope the new Costco doesn't change that!).
Step inside and you'll be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows and a clean, minimalist interior that feels like a breath of fresh air. It's the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a quick snack and coffee or to simply escape the office for a productive hour. Just a heads-up: while itās a great work spot, try not to overstay your welcome!š
And the goodies! The menu is a delightful mix of French-inspired baked treats, fluffy milk bread, mini pizzas, beautiful artisan cakes, and pre-made sandwiches. Their drink selection is just as impressive, with a wide range of coffee and tea options. I'm a matcha fanatic. Although their matcha latte is not high quality grade, it is doable (and definitely a step up from Starbucks).
Since they just opened, the staff is still getting into the groove of things, so you might have to practice a little patience when the line gets long on the weekends. But trust me, the wait is worth it. Itās so exciting to have a new bakery in the...

We ordered a strawberry smoothie that tasted weird, so we asked the cashier/barista what was in it. She just said āstrawberries and waterā and didnāt seem to care at all. They use frozen strawberry packs, and weāre not even sure if they were expired. Next time, donāt just brush off customers, instead please listen and try to help fix the problem. Strawberry smoothie not...
