Teaspoon Almaden — Restaurant in San Jose

I ordered at the kiosk and chose the option for the receipt to be printed. I did not get any receipts handed to me right after but I recalled seeing the girl working behind the counter picking up a piece of paper and tossing it into the trash can. I was hoping that piece of paper was not my order. I waited and waited; came in and out of the store a couple of times to check on my order but she did not even wonder why I would be doing so. And I would see her making others' drinks and skipped mine. I then checked my bank account and see that there was a charge from teaspoon so I proceeded to the counter and asked her if her system got the order. Not sure if she lied about not having the record of the order. She just said that she would be making my order asap; but the entire experience just felt as if i begged for a free drink and it is not on the store or herself. Watching a customer constantly walking in and out without questions or basic communication is just horrible. The customer service at other locations is so much better. Not sure if this applies to all locations, but if you go now and sign up for their rewards program -- by entering your phone number -- you can get 15% off your order. I assume because it's a newer location, the service is excellent right now.

Teaspoon has a lot of interesting drinks and all the basics, e.g. a classic milk tea, so-called brown sugar latte, a fruity green tea, etc.

Because of COVID restrictions and it's location in the Cherry/Almaden strip mall across from the Almaden Ranch -- 0/10 not a fan of the location. It's hot, there really isn't somewhere to stand in line, and you can't really stand inside because, y'know, COVID.

Nevertheless, I recommend you stop by. When restrictions are gone, you can always stop by and decide between tea at Teaspoon or at the extremely-nearby (it's nothing personal) Teazone. The latter has much more seating, some other sweets, and board games -- if COVID hasn't ruined public board...

I am so happy that they opened a Teaspoon so close by to me! It is easily my favorite place to get boba and this location is within walking distance from my house. I was a little bit disappointed that they removed some of my old favorites (like the roasted tea creama) however the introduction of cloud cream definitely made up for it. You can take any tea and just add cloud cream to it and it makes it in my opinion better than regular milk tea. if you are new to teaspoon I absolutely recommend that you try one of their new drinks with cloud cream. The honey boba has great sweetness and texture and the variety of real teas really makes the place stand out from other boba tea places I have been to and I have been to many. Overall definitely would recommend teaspoon to anyone who likes boba or just tea...
