I’m a regular here and tend to order the same dishes every time. It’s just too consistent and things have gotten a lot better than before. Before there were long waits for seating, for our orders to be taken and for the food to come out. The man in charge known as K has really changed things around. It’s more packed, food comes out in a timely manner and service has improved tremendously. We always get served by K while the other staff members are running around taking care of the rest. K knows what we usually order and would suggest us trying different dishes he recommends and it’s good. Will definitely be coming back and retaining my regular status here with these folks.
More to Vietnamese cuisine than a bowl of pho. What I would recommend here for a party of 3-4: Canh chua - I would say is a staple in most Vietnamese homes. It’s the soup with catfish and tamarind flavors. Really delicious and is my favorite dish. You have to compliment it with a side of clay pot fish and pork and at this location, I would get one more to leave feeling full and satisfied. The fried chicken feet is really crunchy and great appetizer. The tamarind shrimp is different and delicious. The chicken feet salad is really delicious. Spice, sweet, sour and refreshing. The fried fish is really good!
Of course stick to the first options I mentioned for your...
Read moreThere was a live black bug larvae crawling on my rau ram of my grilled oyster dish. I alerted the waiter and told him I want a manager several times to come to the table and see this . He said no he has to take it back to the kitchen to let them know and see what they say. When him and someone else came back with the rau ram and got rid of the bug and try to explain that the leaf is a dark color in certain spots of the plant like that, that it's not a bug!!! I was like it was crawling In front of our faces they try to cover it up and the waiter just stayed quiet ! When we repeated what happen in front of the waiter he still stayed quiet and they apologized and offer a new dish. They knew what the hell is going on . The rau ram was dry to begin with which meant they didn't even wash the vegetables they were serving. I really am upset that the waiter was totally trying to cover it up he tried super hard to get rid of the dam evidence quick. If you come Check throughly before you eat since they don't wash and take proper steps to serve I wouldn't recommend! I would've been nice to not write a review and expose them but the fact that the waiter played dumb when he didn't want to get the manager and take it back quickly and gave the lady that came back another story, makes me have to...

The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of Vietnamese favorites, including some unique dishes you don’t always find at other restaurants. Everything I’ve tried here has been flavorful, well-prepared, and served hot and fresh.
One of the things I love most about Dong Que is the quick and efficient service. Even when the restaurant is busy, the staff keeps things running smoothly, and the food comes out surprisingly fast. It’s clear they know how to handle the rush without compromising on quality.
The restaurant has plenty of seating, with tables that work well for both small groups and larger parties. It’s a great spot for family meals or meeting up with friends. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you come during peak hours—it’s a popular place for a reason!
