Baristas need training! I go to a peets coffee almost every day. Usually Fremont or Dublin. This one is is the only around my house for miles, so I usually only go here on the weekends. I would say in the last 3 to 4 months I have not recieved one correctly made drink. Today's experience... I ordered my usual, large iced caramel macchiato. When I recieved it it was maybe 80% full with the rest all foam, ice was melted and there was almost no flavor. I kindly expressed my disappointment and asked for a new drink. (I never do this because it makes you look like a picky person). They were understanding and made me another drink. The next one came and it was so sweet it was undrinkable. I'm talking 0 coffee flavor. I continually praise peets on how much better they are compared to the competitors. This is true, but definitely not at this location. I usually spend over 200 bucks a month at peets so I really expect better. I think I have written 2 reviews in my life so this might tell you how dissatisfied I am. Step up your game y'all. I would suggest having the baristas head the the one on Tasajara in Dublin for some training cause these baristas are pretty...
Read moreCame to this Peets several times this week (was here 3 years ago and it wasn't a good experience), each time this time however was GREAT! Quick staff, great 80's/90's rock-pop music playing when I come, great songs that I didn't even know of. I like what this place has become and plan to come back much more via my travels. BTW, this location is NOT located in the Whole Foods Market as Google says, had I seen that I wouldn't have come initially.
My review from 3 years ago: "barista says he'll be right back and starts making a drink. One of the other employees goes to the other cash register to take the customer behind me.. a few minutes later after a couple minute discussion with the customer and informing him that there is no hot water a new order is finally set up for him. Meanwhile the other barista is still gone making a drink for someone else. Then the other barista comes over, asks if I've been helped. She enters in my order for the wrong price ($4.60 instead of $3.55), so I correct her on that.. This is my first time at this location but Peets.. you need to get your...
Read moreI always order here, more now than ever in quarantine, because the coffee here is awesome, people are nice, and whether I deliver or pick up, it's always a good experience. The new addition of plant-based drinks and breakfast sandwich that are honestly really good is a huge plus for me (not vegan or anything, just like to reduce meat consumption where I can).
Today topped them all tho. I was having a truly truly miserable day. I get my Peet's delivery because I cannot manage to get out of the house and I open the door to, of course my order, but with a lovely decorated bag. To whomever was kind or bored or whatever enough to delight however many of us customers with your doodles, thank you so much. It truly...
