Pizza Guys — Restaurant in San Jose

First off I want to thank the young lady handling all the phone calls because I found out they opened at 10AM today and have been receiving phone calls non stop. You want good people answering your phones to represent your business and be friendly- this is key. They have a BOGO XL Pizza special 4/22 so support local and try out their yummy and creative pizza!

The cool thing about calling them is that when you provide your cell number you are enrolled in their rewards program and given a text confirmation of your order which was nice.

I ordered the the half and half specialty and got the creamy pesto chicken with artichoke and no green olives and the beef taco pizza. I just found out today they have beyond meat and beyond BbQ meat next time I’ll suggest that because I don’t care for beef or beef sausage. I just didn’t want to be picky so I had them leave it on.

The pizza is finished really quickly too exactly 20 min or so and they box it right away.

The pizza is delicious! That creamy pesto chicken was sooo good! I didn’t expect it to be that juicy and flavorful. The taco pizza taste like a taco and my mom said oh that’s weird having lettuce on pizza but I added a side of sour cream to dip it in and it was super good. Only recommendation is that I would offer a side of the taco sauce to-go show other meat options available besides the beef sausage add more cheese on pizza or spice. I came home and put tapatio on top of sour cream and dipped my pizza in for the perfect flavor combo.

I definitely loved the creativity and innovation of the pizza. Good flavor but needed more taco flavor. I was really impressed w the quality and toppings and variety of specialty pizzas available. I don’t live in the south side but I def would come back to support this business. They do have good specials and coupons available so support local everyone! I had the pleasure of being able to try this place out for free for a Yelp elite event. The ordering process was super easy--placed it over the phone and received text notifications confirming my order and when it was ready. My order was ready in 15 minutes as promised! I could tell they were very busy because when I entered the store, two employees were working the phone and there were a few others in the kitchen and handling orders. Also I don't know why but people tend to get my name wrong at foodservice places--I have a pretty basic name and the employee had a hard time finding my order. Turns out my name was put down as Gigi LOL, but the guy was nice about it. I appreciate their kind and quick service despite them being busy.

I got a large Serrano chili pizza which was really good. I am not ashamed to admit I am a fan of Hawaiian pizza, and this is definitely an elevated version with Canadian bacon, applewood smoked bacon, pineapple, red onions, Serrano chili drizzle, and cilantro. Yum! The only point of improvement is I wish there was more meat--the amount of bacon was good but I only found 1-2 pieces of Canadian bacon on each slice, definitely...

I placed an online order for a large Mediterranean pizza today with a note asking that they add some red sauce on top of the pesto sauce. The pizza didn't have any red sauce on it and only had 8 slices of salami (there were 3 slices of pizza with no salami and the other slices had a half slice of salami, maybe 1 or 2 slices with a whole slice of salami). So I called them and the guy started instructing me how I should have indicated requesting the extra red sauce a different way so it wouldn't be missed. He was very nice, but I felt like he was blaming me for him not seeing/reading my instructions. He said that he'll give me a 20% discount and add extra salami next time. I've had their Mediterranean pizza before and it was good, but was disappointed this time with them not adding the red sauce, very little salami, and the crust was like biting into cardboard.
