I had one of my top 3 worst experiences as a customer at this location, and I do not saythag lightly. As soon as I walked in, I urgently needed to use the restroom, so I wanted to do that first, has people in front of me were still ordering anyways. The employees would literally not allow me to place my order after using the restroom; they refused to give me the code until I waited for my turn and then chose and paid for my order. I was already extremely unimpressed at how they were interacting with me, specifically as a customer. You would think it would end there, wouldn't you? WRONG. As I am in the process of using the songle person restroom, I had to deal with multiple knocks on the bathroom door. Finally I pick my head out, and told him I needed to still wash my hands, Ingrid rudely informed me that I had a strict 5 minute time limit for doing all my business in the bathroom!!! On top of being grossly unprofessional, I was so uncomfortable and perturbed are there multiple interruptions during this whole ordeal. The other employees then stated it was because of other customers need to use the restroom, but I sat in the restaurant for another 10 minutes after I got out and not a single person went in after me. Dishinesty can be added to the list of tbings I was forced to endure as a PAYING customer. Just overall gross, cheap, and unsophisticated behavior from all of the female workers behind the counter. If I go to rate this zero out of 5 stars, I would gladly do so, and it would be whole accurate. Honestly, just overall shame play treated me, from their tone to their explanations to their complete lack of sympathy and social/business etiquette. Do better, because honestly you couldn't do much...

This shop has been hit or miss in the past, today a flop.
1:30 Friday walked in, zero line, 4 staff walk by me, one making 1 sandwich, I wait....3 or four minutes go by, one more staff walks by me, another staff walk back me... go get gloves... what would I like? Cold cut sandwich can you make it with less bread choice? Like low carb? You want veggie sandwich?Avocado sandwich? You want ham and cheese?
I tthink I will try something else today....leave.
It is a sandwich shop by the name, but could not make a sandwich described as a cold cut. Somewhere in a deli, maybe in ny or in San Francisco.... a man making sandwiches for 30 years is holding his head, crying quietly.
Try Sourdough bakery’s a 25 second walk up the street. They know what a cold cut sandwich is ... even if they consider low carb bread...
Read moreTogo's on First and Hedding street in San Jose California, across from the jail. My experience wasn't that great. the employees were not friendly therefore, the food isn't made with love and it was nasty. (Observation) it seems like customers annoy the employees for ordering a sandwich. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and it seems like the guy gave me the fattest and equally pieces of pastrami. I was actually struggling to eat the sandwich it's like he gave me all of the throw away pieces.(And I paid $8.95, for the sandwich and drink) I've had many pastrami sandwiches through the years from Togo's but this was the worst and that will be my last visiting that location. I will give them three starslike Togo's I just don't like...
