Lucía - Patisserie+Café — Restaurant in San Juan

I am very disappointed with the experience I had at Lucia’s bakery this morning. It is sad that I have to write such a poor review. Although the food is excellent the treatment I received leaves a lot to be desired. They handle the situation on an highly unprofessional manner and the owner was plain rude. I finished my breakfast and felt like having a croissant, since they are so good. I left my half cup of coffee unfinished on the table along with my cellphone. They make me wait on line ( that was very long) as if I was a new customer who just walked in the door and when I went back to the table there was another customer sitting there and my cup of coffee and cellphone had disappeared. I did a claim that I was sitting there to the personnel at the front desk and they acted like they did not know what happened, I asked for another coffee and they wanted me to pay for it! at that point I said “ why should I pay for it when you took away my unfinished coffee …..and where is my cellphone “ Next thing the owner comes out and accuses me of mistreating her employees, points out where the exit is.I responded that I am a Puerto Rican that live abroad and this is my first visit to Lucia and she says “ I don’t care where are you from”
