Situated in Miramar very near to the music conservatory, the coffee from Gustos is very good. This is to expected from a place specializing in coffee on an island known for it! The ambience here is casual with people of all ages hanging out and conducting business, chatting or just enjoying themselves. I'd say we saw an equal mix of professionals, friends and people sitting solo. There are tables inside and out, with the inside being deceptively large when you look at the store front. There are lots of options for baked treats, sandwiches, and other food items available and all of the normal things you'd expect from a coffee place. They don't seem to have wifi, which I found weird, but maybe I just missed it. If you are coming here to work, bring headphones, as it is a pretty loud environment. We didn't have food, so I can't directly speak to how it is, buy it all looked really good and the plates going back into the kitchen were pretty clean, so it must have been good. atmosphere is amazing, but they don’t have wifi, which is exclusionary to people who can’t afford a hotspot. they also have rigid rules posted on the wall for how long you can stay—30 minutes if you ordered only a drink, 1 hour if you order food. this made me feel rushed and kind of unwelcome. it’s not like they were packed or anything. there’s 5 people sitting in here. i ordered the toast with the tomatoes, mushrooms/spinach and arugula—was yummy but definitely needed salt. i love the windows open, large, beautiful space, and coffee smell, but overall i felt that the food was expensive and i got the vibe that this place doesn’t cater to people without certain financial resources. i enjoyed my time here but i wouldn’t come back because i ran out all my hotspot data for the month...
