This review is specifically for Plaza las Américas in San Juan PR. The food is regular, not bad, but it is not something extraordinary, it is like eating in a glorified Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant. I went with my daughter to eat the night of December 30, the restaurant was not full, it took approximately 20 minutes to sit down (for two people on a busy day it is a long time). We ordered 2 sushi rolls each at 6:53 PM, after asking the waiter (Axel Chinea) several times for the food and him telling us the same thing (they are preparing them), they served us at 7:48, this is almost one hour; the couple next to us, sat almost at the same time as us, they received their food, they ate and left when ours arrived. In a situation like this, the least one expects is an apology, but that was not the case, every time we asked the waiter, he said: "There comes the food." After he served us he treated us indifferently, as if our claim was absurd. PF Chang must first add staff to prepare sushi and be a little more rigorous in training their staff, especially waiters, so that they know how to treat customers in situations like that. For my part, I do not plan to visit them on a future occasion, I already knew that food was not the big deal, the portion is small and prices are not justified. Plus, service is horrible.

My family and I have visited both the Plaza and Caguas restaurants for many years and on a weekly basis (sometimes twice a week). Due to our vegan lifestyle, we all enjoyed dining at PF Chang's because of their vegan offerings, in particular the Ma Po Tofu because of its high protein content. Not many restaurants provide vegan options with high protein content, which we consider essential for a balanced meal. Also, our kids love their crispy fries so it was a win-win.

We recently visited the Plaza location and their new Ma Po Tofu and Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps recipes we deeply disappointing. The Ma Po Tofu barely had tofu and it was all mostly fried starch with sauce and rice, which led to a very odd and unsatisfying feeling in our palates. In both plates, the "tofu bites" were all glued together and tasted mostly like frying oil with sauce.

Their service was excellent. The waitress was kind, attentive, and did her best to make sure we were satisfied but the food quality was very poor and this greatly affected our experience. We thanked her for her great service and let her now that it was not her fault. It seems that the company is trying to cut costs by reducing the tofu quantity to less than 50% of what the entrée used to contain and replacing it with starch.

We eat out on a weekly basis, have traveled to many places all around the world, have tried multiple PF Chang's locations in the US, and this was one of the worst, if not, the worst entrée we've ever had. It got to the point of having to stop eating it because the quality was so poor. We've tried two additional Ma Po Tofu versions in the past and both were great. It had a satisfying tofu quantity and was very enjoyable.

Sadly, the new recipe led to us deciding not to return to PF Chang's. If any of the previous recipes were to be brought back, we would return on a weekly basis with no hesitation. Otherwise, it is simply...

Dining at PF Chang's is always an exquisite experience, and this visit was no exception. From start to finish, everything was perfectly executed, leaving me craving another visit even before dessert arrived.

The Mongolian Beef deserves a standing ovation. Tender, flavorful, and expertly cooked, it’s a perfect balance of sweet and savory with just the right amount of caramelized glaze. Every bite is a celebration of flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Honestly, it’s the kind of dish that sets the gold standard for Asian cuisine.

Complementing the meal was an excellent selection of wines, perfectly recommended by the staff. Their pairing suggestions were spot-on, enhancing the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them. The wine not only elevated the Mongolian Beef but also made the entire dining experience feel that much more sophisticated.

The ambiance at PF Chang's is another highlight—elegant yet welcoming, making it a perfect choice for any occasion. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were genuinely invested in ensuring everything was to our liking.

PF Chang’s consistently delivers on quality, flavor, and service, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional food and thoughtfully crafted dining experiences. If you’re a fan of Asian cuisine or just looking for a memorable meal, do yourself a favor and try the Mongolian Beef with one of their wine pairings—you...

I recently dined at P.F. Chang's and was unfortunately disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Orange Chicken with whole grain rice, expecting the usual high quality I’ve enjoyed in the past. However, the chicken was underwhelming; it had an excessive amount of breading, and the small pieces of chicken inside were of low quality, including bits of cartilage. The dish as a whole had a texture that reminded me of a microwaved meal, lacking the crispiness I usually look forward to. The rice that accompanied the chicken was very dry, a far cry from the typical fluffy and moist rice that can easily be picked up with chopsticks. On a slightly better note, the kids' bento boxes were nicely portioned, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t live up to expectations either. Additionally, the local churrasco roll was dry and flavorless, and the spring rolls were slightly burnt and greasy. Although we ate most of the meal, we not dine at this retaurant again, It's disappointing to see the quality decline to this extent, making it seem like the restaurant is more focused on profit than providing a satisfying dining experience for its customers.

Went yesterday with the family and place was full but we got a table quick. They have a nice system for waiting (is not a reservartion though) in which they notify you via text, still need to be near as they only hold it for 10 minutes. Atmosphere inside is nice with modern feeling, dim lighting and good space all around. I do find the price is a bit high, specially with the food only been serve with white rice. Even then we had to ask for the rice as if you don't mention it they don't serve it, so if not ask they only bring you the meat. Food is okay, but I expect more based on the pricing compare to other similar restaurants. I had their chang chicken special and didn't feel much of a difference than a traditional sweet and spicy chicken (which they also offer). We also ask for their chinesse rice and I had to say it is really good and one order is probably enough for 4 people. Still food is not bad and the experience overall is good.
