Simposio — Restaurant in San Juan

We had the opportunity to dine at Simposio on our last night in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The only way to describe this was SPECTACULAR! I started off with the Fried Goat Cheese Salad. It was large wedges of fried goat cheese layered with tomato and thick sliced bacon. I then followed this with Crispy Pork Belly with a spicy kim chi and rice. Dessert was a warm corn cake drizzled with Carmel sauce and rich cream vanilla and chocolate shaving topping. The chef and owner came over to our table a number of times. Actually after each course! A new gem of the Santurce area.Beutiful place very clean and with adequate music ,for a perfect enviorment to enjoy with frieds or couples.The menu is very eclectic but very good selection of appetizers and strong salad.
