Trópiko Hato Rey — Restaurant in San Juan

It was my first time visiting this business overall the food tasted amazing but the service could be better.. they made a mistake with our drinks and ended up giving me an alcoholic beverage by accident on top of that they kept on mixing our orders with someone else number... we waited over 35 minutes for our food when we were told it would have been 15 to 20 minutes. Needless to say I would grab food here again but I would take it to go and not sit down at the tables.. the atmosphere was okay but there was alot of trash around the tables and the whole area seemed dirty. When you walk to the parking lot there's a lot of dirty water and trash all over the place. I would say if you don't care about the atmosphere or waiting for your food at least 30 minutes then definitely check this place out. Customer service they were...

I truly enjoyed and love the place! It has great parking available which is rare in the zone, but accesible to eat! There where a couple of people ahead of me, yet the wait wasn't long and the vibe was nice and casual.

Now, the food! Just wow! It was PERFECT! I enjoyed every bite of it! The Carne Frita and it was crispy and well seasoned, the rice was exquisite and the bifongo was sweet and just ohh, so good! My friend tried el Boricuazo and the Churrasco was on point and it even included avocado and was topped with cheese! Prices were $12 for mine and $15 for hers plus taxes, but considering the quality of the foods and the portions it felt like it was adequate and unexpensive!

The place is really well taken care of, parking most of the time is really uncomfortable. Now the important part is the Food.

The food is simply amazing, so many good combinations makes your taste buds go wild! Service is also great, all the employees are always with a smile and it gives out a warm feeling. Really nice concept, always get the time to come down here at least once a month.
