Indian Grill — Restaurant in San Leandro

Ordered the Lamb Tikkimasala, Rice, 2 Naan bread, and the Chicken Mushroom Masala. Everything was tasty. A bit pricey for a small portion. All this food fed two people. Little bit of a hiccup when I was trying to order they didn’t really fully understand my order. There were two young people working at the front so I was patient and just had to reorder and pay for something I wasn’t charge for and I didn’t initially receive. But I would go back, hoping the service and order accuracy would improve. Also if you’re driving and parking to dine in, or take out it’s located a street away from the Pelton center in Old Downtown San Leandro where unfortunately you have to pay for parking everywhere. They often check randomly but it’s much safer just to cooperate and pay the meters. Safe bet for some good quality Indian food around San Leandro, and so long as Indian is my favorite kind of food I will be patronizing this establishment due to not wanting to go to Hayward or another surrounding city just for some of my favorite,...

No good customer service skills

Waaaayyyyy to expensive for what they offer

I was overly Charged sales taxes @ 10.75% not sure how that is even possible when I am tax exempt here in my born country Amuru/ America.

The dish did not even come with rice or any side dish, I was told by the cashier that everything is sold separately which doesn’t make any sense because rice, potatoes and vegetables like that are cheap! All they gave me was a few little chicken seekah kebab and nothing else I had to pay for the garlic naan along with mughlai kadhia paneer that little stuff added up to almost $50!

I will not be returning back here I’ll go and experience other indian restaurants I really thought I was going to like indian grill but this restaurant experience was a big smack in the face. Never again portions are extremely small and sales taxes...

it's rare to be surprised these days but i was delightfully surprised by Indian Grill. i was craving Inidan food so i googled "Indian food near me" and I picked the one with the highest star rating and ordered via GrubHub. I ordered way too much food but it was all delicious! It arrived piping hot and was packed really well. I ordered two kinds of naan - paneer and garlic and both were very good. .. if they were this good after being packed to-go, i cannot wait to someday eat them in the restaurant! I ordered a lot but the standouts were the Chaat Papdi. . so delicious but might be a little spicy for some and the Aloo Gobhi. We also had the Lamb Biryani, Lamb Curry and Chicken Vindaloo.
