Lahainas — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

Usually Lahaina's is very, very good with amazing burgers especially, but I went there recently and the food didn't seem like how it usually is. It was probably because they were very busy, but the burgers seemed more dry and they forgot some things. But overall, usually, they are amazing and I would definitely recommend. My favorite place for a burger.

Edit: I went there today and was sadly surprised at the service. We ordered and the cashier was not very friendly, taking our order VERY quickly. I was about to add something to the order when she suddenly told us the price and had us pay. I've been a couple times for a weekday lunch and this spot is a dead simple restaurant that does what's on the tin quite well. I can vouch only for the fish and chips and they where delicious. Crispy, flaky, hot and not too oily and that honestly applies to the fries too. Plenty of sauces including malt vinegar with no upcharge. Prices where reasonable and the guy working was very friendly (possibly owner/operator?). The atmosphere is nothing special and they're not trying to be, but I gave 5 stars because of the ample shaded outdoor seating. Awesome fish and chips, and sometimes specialty dinners like prime rib or fried pork belly! EXCELLENT service! Ask the owner/chef when they do specialty dinner nights when they do the special items like prime rib. They are also very accommodating in helping make your dish right, such as substituting half your chips (fries) for salad. Great place! Check 'em out. Very nice people and top notch service.
