First time here.
First big negative- I ordered Chile Reino and he said they didn't have any. I was shocked and asked why? Because nobody likes chillies stuffed with cheese. He was serious. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that has that item missing from their menu.
Second- they have free chips and hot sauce not salsa! It's super hot sauce! Even my boyfriend could not eat it the sauce was so hot. There were no chunks. It was clearly their got sauce with a smoke flavor served in place of salsa.
So, I asked the cashier for salsa. He said they had none. Then I asked for Pico de Gaio and he gave me a tiny sample cup 🤣🤣🤣. It should have been their salsa if the added some mild sauce to it.
My fish tacos were ok. I asked for all beans no rice. Extra beans in place of the rice. I got no extra beans.
Boyfriend's burrito read good. Steak was gristly and they don't have shredded beef as an option. 11.99 for a giant burrito and if you want it wet it's 1$more.
We spent 30$ here. Way too much for the quality and quantity and lackluster service....
Read more$15.00 for a foot long "Giant" burrito.... except that it was only 6 1/2" long, and nothing special about it, and Barely any cheese at all.
False advertising, extortion-type prices for what you get. Food looks nothing like the pictures.
Food is cooked in the microwave.... my burrito was made in less than 90 seconds. Who knows how many times this Food had been reheated in the microwave !?! I'LL NEVER GO BACK!!
The burrito was drenched in a sticky oil and I had to use 3 paper towels to soak it up After eating it, my hands were drenched in this oil-stuff that wouldn't come off until I used Castillo soap, twice.
My mouth had a sticky oil residue and I had to brush my teeth twice and rinse with listening mouth wash. It resembled hydrogenated canola oil (which is very bad for you).
Taco bell would be a MUCH better choice...
Read moreI was craving a burrito and this is about all there is in this part of town so I decided to try it. Ordered a carnitas burrito with everything and it came out pretty quickly. The size of the burrito is pretty good, lots of meat and kind of light on the rice which was nice. The carnitas were a good texture but were a lot greasier than what I'm used to. Prices are a bit high for what you get I think. They seem to be a bit stingy on salsas, as they have a sign asking not to take more than you need. They should just have the bottles on each table. Overall not a bad experience, but I definitely wouldn't make the effort to eat here unless I'm...
