My wife and I dined here recently for dinner. We were quickly seated with no wait. Our server appeared also in a timely manner. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with sides of Southern Green Beans and Broccoli Mac n Cheese. The steak was tender and large sized. The Mac n cheese was tasty. The green beans tended to be very sweet which I did not care for. My wife had the Blackened Salmon with Southern Green Beans and Cole Slaw. She also did not care for the beans which the server gladly exchanged for a Loaded Baked Potato. My wife said the Cole Slaw was very good. I also tried it and liked it very much. Of course the Honey Butter Croissants were great. The server was efficient and pleasant. The menu prices were reasonable. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they were as low as they were although you're not dining in a 5 star restaurant. Overall this was a nice dining experience. If one desires overall pretty good food with reasonable to low pricing then I don’t think one would be disappointed with Cheddar’s dining. Edit: We did later return. I had the fried Chicken/Shrimp Combo with green beans and red beans & rice. The chicken was very tasty with the gravy for dipping. The shrimp was also good with the included cocktail sauce for dipping. The wife had grilled chicken which she enjoyed. While the green beans were undercooked, overall the meal was good. As a bonus I had the Swirl Sangria which is margarita and sangria swirled together. It was nice. As always the buttery Croisants were great. In general the food here is ok, not spectacular, but "one does get what one pays for" as the saying goes.

The food itself is always kinda meh but the desserts and drinks are good. Waiters and Hosts are never around any of the 4 times I've been. I did however get helpful service from my bartender. I didn't order alcohol just a peach tea but she made it perfect. She also checked on my order and brought it and left her station to do the host and waiters jobs. I hope she is getting a share of tips since she seems to be running half the joint by herself. I was impressed by her work ethic but really felt underwhelmed about the work ethic of the non existent host and waiter. This place is very disorganized. Now I haven't tried every dish , so maybe some of the food may be okay but they often under season, undercook or over butter everything. This most recent experience though was the best one yet and I'm willing to go one more time and see if they can change my mind about the food . I'll happily change my review if what I order is superb next time. As every foodie and restaurant owner knows, the food quality and experience is based on who's employed and not cutting corners. I will say though that if you're on a budget this really is a great place to eat in comparison to other choices in this outlet area.

The food was good. 🥩 🍗 🥩 🍗 🥗 🍅 🥗 🍅 The salad made me laugh... they split a very sad grape tomato in half and then one whole grape tomato and 4 croutons. 🥗 🍅 🥗 🍅 For a fairly big salad considering it was a side 1.5 grape tomatoes. 🍅 🍅 🍅 The chicken fried steak and chicken tenders were exponentially more tender and juicy than any place I have ever ordered out. ☆☆☆Kudos to the cook!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ The waitress was not great at keeping the table bussed and our cups full.... the location was not busy at all. There were only 3 tables with people, so my grace and understanding for the drinks and table being kept clean is non insistent. ☆ The service would not affect me returning, though. ♡♡ The FAKE plants that were above our heads were covered in greasy dust, which was a little gross. This will affect my return...☆ ♧♧ However, I have never been in any Cheddars that the plants were not in this condition. ♧♧ Cheddars should honestly consider removing the fake plants, in my opinion.♧♧ ♧♧♧This stood out because it was at eye level in the booth we were seated at. ♧♧♧ We were passing thru town. This is not the location we usually go to.
