Last week I ordered pizza for pickup. 2 large 2 topping pizzas and a pepperoni cheese bread. 2 of us, only ate a few slices and at that did not finish them.
Brought the order home and it was subpar. The pizza was banal, and just not flavorful at all. Never had an issue with this place before. The cheese bread was over salty.
I called to complain about the quality of the pizza, didn’t call to get a refund just to let them know, it was that bad.
General manager had a very bad attitude and lacks complete profession. (Long read for a bad attitude) Here is where it takes a turn down to garbage town. A male employee answers the phone, very professional. I told him my issue and that I had an issue with my order he said ok, let me get a manager on the line.
The manager answers the phone “hi” but nothing else …I question the answer with “um….hellloooo” unsure if there was someone on the line. The she says rudely and curtly “what’s the issue” I reply, well right now, your attitude is but I have an issue with my order. She rebuttals I don’t have an attitude and proceeds to focus on the issue that I called out her bad attitude, With no rectification of her behavior. Then I tell her with the same level of attitude, well your pizza sucked. I was hung up on. I proceeded inside the restaurant and asked who hung up on me. She refused (same voice, and attitude) to take responsibility for her actions attempting to pass the blame to another female employee who she said was also a manager, the voice was not the same.
She was more worried about my attitude and not once asked what the issue was simple said - you want a refund or what. No I want a genuine apology from you for your lack of professionalism. Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. I'm extremely disappointed in Domino's off of Wonder World. We've been long time customers, using the app, or ordering online and never had a bad experience. Except for today. We've used their delivery options multiple times in the past. Never had a problem with our address until today.
Apparently all our deliveries in the past were "mistakes" and they don't deliver out to our address anymore.
I also "didn't answer the phone" when the driver called. I already spoke to her the first time she called for clarification on directions. Isn't that odd that she was already out with our order, needing directions and when she called a second time, I missed the call, tried to call her back. No answer. Only to have someone at the store call me to tell me I didn't answer so they were canceling our order and they didn't deliver to our address. Explain to me how it's allowed on the website/app?
When I asked what other solution could be made, he simply said he could cancel the order and that was it.
I admit I sarcastically said "Great, thanks." and he hung up.
I usually don't leave bad reviews even when service is terrible, but the driver sounded like she couldn't be bother to do her job, she described our street which meant she was on it, and sounded annoyed the entire time. The man who called from the store was unhelpful and unwilling to solve an issue, telling me I must have ordered from the wrong location. I knew exactly which location I ordered from because the other location doesn't service our area.
I work in retail, I know how to solve customer issues. This was just laziness

Read moreNothing about this experience was good today. It's a shame I have to give a bad review on my first time ordering from here, but here goes. I do not usually order much food online but I am currently having trouble moving about, so no cooking and no walking. Ordering on their website was frustrating. It was very glitchy. I chose to get pizza with Car-side Delivery so I don't put any pressure on my knee. Well, that didn't work. I texted them twice upon my arrival. After 15 mins I went inside in pain and in a bad mood. They all looked lost and confused about not getting my texts. I tried calling but they had a recording saying they are "unable to answer the phone due to circumstances beyond their control". I got a quick apology from the girl who handed me my now cold pizza. When I asked why they didn't answer phone, she said they lost 4 employees, so.... It is sad and scary to see what's happening to restaurants. At this point they are paying more than they ever have and they all need help. I see constant posts on Facebook of people looking for work, yet these places are still short staffed. I don't get it. But, it seems cooking at home is the more attractive option and it's faster.
