I am so saddened to leave this review but I have been left with no other choice. The Friday before Christmas Eve, I had a gentleman named Chris who is apparently the CO of the habit, (at least that's what others who recognized him told me) come into a restaurant with 7 members of his staff for a little "Christmas work party." I happened to be their server for the evening and I catered to their every need. I provided an amazing experience for them all as I normally do. Chris personally told me i have him "thee best service he had in 5 years" I was super excited and he told me this and told me he would take great care of me at the end. Their party stayed about 2 hours due to a white elephant gift exchange, which was no problem really because I enjoyed their company. It finally Came to dropping their check which was about $20 shy of $500. When everyone left, he paid the bill in gift cards and then asked me how he could go about leaving my tip. I gave him a few options but he said word for word, "I actually have cash in my car, let me grab it for you and be right back." And of course I said " Ok great no problem, I will be right here." And to my shock, he never came back. I waited all night thinking he would come back and he never did. Of course I know I am not entitled to a tip and could never force anybody to leave me a tip, it is unfortunately no big surprise in my industry but in this situation it really crushed my heart. Especially with such a great company and to have given my very best and be basically spit in my face really hurt me. I cried that night. Especially it being the holiday season, I have 3 little ones that depend on my work just as much as I do. I truly don't think I deserved that. I just wanted the chance to say how hurt I was by that experience. Thank you for taking your time...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at this location. Firstly, I believe a feature should be added to the app for "special requests". I had ordered the Ahi Tuna Sandwich tonight and this sandwich comes with a teriyaki glaze-- one in which contains ingredients I am usually allergic to. After trying to find a way to order it on the app without, we went ahead and placed the order & decided to try and call right away before they prepared the order. My boyfriend sat on hold for 7 minutes so I called and I was on hold for 5. When we arrive, the employee (about 5'2", blue shirt, young) was openly rude and went "UGH REMAKE!" we then sat down until the manager arrived, telling us to buy another one since "it didn't specify no teriyaki glaze". We then showed her the app, told her we also called (showed call log), & apologized. They then turned around to make it, while talking smack about us in Spanish (which I understand fluently). The young one started throwing trash aggressively, slamming food, and cups on the counter while giving us dirty looks every once in a while. The cooks also gave us dirty looks... over a remake of 1 singular sandwich... I understand a remake of an order is frustrating. But we never once used any combative language, we always said please and thanked them double when it was done. On top of this, we asked for 5 ranches (we love ranch) in which the young one said "After 2 we charge you" and walked off. That's totally reasonable... like yes, I'll pay? Her attitude was insane for someone I don't know and is in the service industry. Horrible. I understand I won't use the app anymore but wow. What...
Read moreUnfortunately this burger chain failed to impress us at our first order from them and we will not likely order from them in the future. In summary, I saw they offer double char burgers for $1 when you install their app on your phone and I thought that might be a good opportunity to try their burgers. We ordered two double char burgers using their deal (1 dollar double char) using two different phones and another double char burger at the regular price without using any offer code at the restaurant. We didn't give any special instructions for the burgers that came with the offer but we told them not to put any onion and mayo for the regular order. And it was a takeout order. When we got to our house, we realized that they only made the double char burger (which was not ordered with any offer code) correctly. But the other two looked liked as if they shared the ingredients of a single burger. Both had double patties but only one had the cheese and the other didn't. On the other hand, the one with no cheese had tomatoes, pickles and onions but the cheesey one had none of these. Also the buns were cold. To be honest this was a very strange experience. I guess we'll stick to In-n-out burger, which is right...
