Arrived to the San Marcos drive thru tonight at 8:50pm MIND YOU THEY CLOSE AT 9PM. There was a car waiting for their order at the drive thru window. I said hello at least 5 times with no response, so I drove up to the window where the cook was at the grill still nothing. It's now 8:54pm so I drive around the front since I see the door is slightly open to find the cashier outside. She was reaching for her cigarette on the ledge of the concrete pilar. I ask what time they close she says 9pm. I said I have been at the drive thru since 8:40pm saying hello. I said who can I speak to she replies you can talk to me and I will let my manager know. I said I am not going to leave the message with you. What is your name and your managers name. She says my name is Ana and his name is Jesse. She said sorry ma'am I took off my headset because that was the last order we were going to take. She says we close a little earlier now so we can start to clean. At which point I say don't you close at 9pm and then start cleaning. She responded for the past few weeks we have been closing a little earlier. I said that's strange because I have been here at the same time in the drive thru and have ordered. I mentioned you may way to change your closing time on the restaurant and website if that is the case. She said yes we to. I then hold up my phone and say it is now 8:57pm and you are closed. She gets very quiet and turns to walk in the door. I told her it is sad that you were more worried about your cigarette than the customers. Hopefully Jesse the manager and the owner read this and realize business is being turned away so she could have her cigarette. It will be a while before we return unless this gets fixed. Read moreThe WORST customer service absolutely every time I go there. Good luck ordering drive through because you cannot hear their speaker. Tried to order a breakfast plate with 2 sausage and she started fighting with me that it only comes with four sausage even though i've gotten only 2 every time. She was trying to make me spend more.
Dining in? Well their weird little robot wont come with any utensils and it wont bring your drinks. It wont even hand you your food- you have to physically get up to grab your plates from it's shelves which can be hard for someone with knee problems or pain in general.
They are just so MEAN all of the time! I come here to get my boss food since he loves their breakfast, but he never has to deal with their attitude like I do. They dont even make eye contact with you and you will wait for 10-15 minutes in the drive through. They SUCK. If my boss didn't send me here for his food I would never come here again in my life. They care about the quality of their food and service. They didn't key in one item (chicken sandwich) of our 5 person order so didn't charge me. But they remember hearing the order so it was their mistake. They immediately apologized, offered to not charge us and still bring the order to our table. When they did bring the final order that we didn't have to pay for, they also brought us a gift certificate. We tried to refuse saying it was plenty that they made it right. They insisted on giving the giftcard. I can't remember the last time ANY restaurant at ANY price, cared this much about their customers and service.
