United Paleteria Y Neveria — Restaurant in San Pablo

This place used to be great to go to until my most recent experiences. I went in with a friend to order some shakes, and we received awful treatment by a young blonde girl that works there. We asked for 5 shakes and she seemed mad that we asked for that many and rolled her eyes at us and started talking Under her breath! Extremely rude! I seriously felt like not even purchasing anymore: we ignored it and went in to pay. She gave us a horrible attitude when trying to pay. Anyway... I returned on Saturday since my daughter wanted some ice cream. When I walked in, she told another young girl “Look, that’s her” and they both giggled and kept rolling their eyes. I told her that I had heard what she said and she’s ignored me... then, when trying to pay I handed her my card and she literally left me with my hand extended for a minute and didn’t grab my card... and she continued to roll her eyes... I returned yesterday, 07/29/2019, since some friends of mine wanted to go, again, we walk in and as soon as she saw us she whispered into the other girls ear, smirked at us and rolled her eyes... both the young blonde girl and another brunette young girl left to the back so they wouldn’t attend us. They left an older lady by herself to get all of our orders. Towards the end I asked for another cup of ice cream, and this young blonde chick told the older lady that was serving me “See I told you” in Spanish, right in front of me! I then asked the older lady what was that girls problem, that it bothered her that we ordered so much. If she doesn’t like what she does then she needs to get another job! I don’t understand how this place still has her employed after all the complaints I am reading about the same girl. Wish I knew her name so I can put it...

No English????? Then… no money.. come on now….. you always have to have an English speaking employee in The United States of America or your business will continuously be empty! Also, the ice cream was not great. My daughter wanted a cup w- 1 scoop of chocolate & 1 scoop of vanilla… the owner lady tried asking me which vanilla does she want (my 4 yr old) I’m like…. Huh? The sign had “white” vanilla and I couldn’t see the other sign.. so I let her know the “white” Vanilla. && once she served it to us….it was LIGHT ORANGE! even my daughter looked at me strangely.. we tasted it and it was a type of vanilla but definitely not what we are used to as White American people. Unfortunately we could not communicate with the owner to get a switch due to her language. My kid ate few bites n we tossed the Vanilla....

Was headed to the other place that I’m familiar with on 23rd but seen this place and stopped. It looked run down a little on the outside and had. I cars in the parking lot, and a broken door with a board on it and windows needing to be cleaned. I ordered a bionico. It looked decent and when I begin to eat it I noticed the apples were all old as if sitting for awhile and the strawberries were also on the older side. I was pretty disappointed overall and will not be returning. The service was fine and the young lady was friendly. But again you would expect FRESH fruit not a day...
