Michael's Sourdough Sandwiches — Restaurant in San Rafael

I came into the store last week to put in an order for me and my coworkers. It was 11 orders and I could tell they were getting busier by the time I came through. It was before lunch of course, so I apologized and told them I had quite a request.

The person who took down my order was very patient and understanding. Once the orders were in, I paid and waited on the side. I noticed the people who came in behind me were getting their sandwiches sooner, which honestly relieved me. I didn't want anyone getting a delay on their personal lunch for my 11 person order.

They still finished sooner than I could ever imagine and each order was made to order perfectly. Very tasty sandwiches. Great staff. They seem to have fun with their usual's coming through and were very kind to me as a new patriate....

Very bad customer service. Had a customer before me order two sandwiches and then asked for sprouts on the side. She was given the sprouts without hesitation. So did the same thing and was told I could only get sprouts if I ordered a salad. I then asked what the difference was between me and the customer before me. The Latina worker then just laughed and said they didn’t carry sprouts. Never coming back to this place. I really love the sandwiches here too. Maybe I got stereotyped by my own Latino people or do they just serve a certain race in a good old fashion American customer service. Managers please teach your workers to treat...

It has been my favorite sandwich spot, but won't be going there anymore. They clearly do not appreciate customer that spends a lot. I bought 9 sandwiches for about $170, each one having extra meat and avocado. Ordered four number four and five number five. Each being made the same, didn't customize the sandwiches. When my order was ready, I was told next time order on the app or call ahead of time. Clearly they appreciate the $15 customer whole lot more than someone that spends over $100. And when I got home, they had given me all number 5 sandwiches. And for the first time the sandwiches didn't...
