Delicious and full of flavor! Accurate order, reasonably priced for this area. Can’t wait to order again!

On Saturday night, we ordered for pick-up using their website’s ordering vehicle. Everything was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and just as colorful produce as the photos on the restaurant’s website. (I don’t know how they got my email), but I received and email ad, the pictures looked delicious and I saw they had vegan options. Two of the members of our 8-person bubble are vegan, so this got my attention. I love Mediterranean food and have tried a lot of different kebabs and hummus recipes. They did a great job!!! Fresh produce, juicy chicken kebab, delicious turmeric rice and other sauces. Yummy yummy, yummy! I got the chicken kebab rice bowl but added the cherry peppers, pickled turnips, cabbage, sumac cauliflower, and all 3 leafy green choices (mixed greens, arugula and baby kale). I also added falafels to the bowl. We were all very impressed. I think we ordered a side of hummus for the group. They gave us a pint and plenty of pita. The only thing we weren’t crazy for was their lentil soup (which we didn’t know we were getting with our meals). It was bland. Literally everything else we had was so tasty. They are in the same shopping center as the Whole Foods on Bollinger. Very convenient, and decently priced for the quality, portions and prices for this area. I've been dining here fairly consistently for a couple years and I am big fan. Surprised to see negative experiences in other fairly recent reviews, actually. Anyway, like I said, I am fan, the food is consistently good and flavorful, for me. I get the same thing every time: pomegranate chicken +falafel wrap. Tasty, with garlic spread, hummus, spicy tahini, peppers & onions, etc. One thing I like is the staff gives generous portions and will listen you, as well, like if I want a bit more cauliflower or hummus or whatever, they will do it without hesitation, within reason, of course. Some other wrap places are very strict about portions and you end up feeling ripped off. Not here, for me anyway. Love this place for a quick and delish meal!

The staff is always friendly and they custom build your bowl or wrap at SAJJ just like Chipotle does with Mexicali food.

I had a very late night at work tonight, and stopped by SAJJ San Ramon on my way home around 8:55pm. As I slid into the restaurant, just before closing, I asked the staff if it was too late to grab some food. "Not at all!" was their reply, with a smile.

Rodrigo helped me tonight and he was just as cheerful as he's been every other time he's waited on me - though all the staff here are great!

Six minutes later I was walking out with my family's late dinner (teenagers can always eat, as it turns out, lol) and one less thing to worry about tonight. I highly recommend...
