Mobile order was prompt, 90-95% correct, and ready to go. (Point of order--every item in the order had customization. 90-95% accuracy is actually impressive in this case.)
COOL TRICK: You can order using the mobile app, in-store kiosk, etc., then pick up your order in-store or at the Drive-Thru. It's a great way to save time, add tons of customization without stress, avoid food allergens, etc. etc. etc. This should apply to any Taco Ball location, but don't quote me on that. Just ask or research for yourself at the desired location. 💛🍀👍
HAVE FOOD ALLERGENS? PICKY EATERS? IN A HURRY? ON A TIGHT BUDGET? VEGETARIAN?
Good news! Taco Bell can help you. Just follow these steps & see where it leads you.
Download the app, use the in-store self-serve kiosk, or ask the cashier/any available worker if they have a copy of allergy information in store.
Be specific about what you want or need to avoid (e.g. No dairy, He hates spicy foods, etc.).
The more complicated your needs are, the simpler your meal/order should be.
E.G. A vegetarian (maybe vegan?) with celiac disease (gluten-free diet) on a tight budget who is in a hurry should start with a side order of black beans & rice and a water cup. From there, she can add a source of "safe" simple sugar, such as soda or fruit. 😊
Use the app, a digital bookmark, your brain, or a pen & paper to remember your "favorites" for next time.
The app even saves customization of specific products for you, so you can order them again and again, without all of that initial hassle again.
If your child tells you for months that his quesadilla is spicy (even if it is just cheese & tortilla)--believe him.
The quesadillas are made with a three-cheese blend, including Monterey jack (I believe)...which has jalapeno juice in it. Sorry, kid. It really was spicy 🔥. Oops. 😬😁🤣 We now sub cheddar cheese instead & order 2-3 cheesy roll-ups instead, which are cheaper & easier to hold than quesadillas anyway. ✊ Perfect for tiny hands that want to shove the food into their mouth as quickly as possible so they can get back to playing. Now. Like RIGHT now. 🤣🤣🤣
If you are in a budget, always start with the value menu.
Look for ways to build a meal you love but can actually afford. Don't buy anything you already have at home or can buy elsewhere for way less (cough. cough. SODA).
To eat healthy & maintain or lose weight, prioritize three things (in this order): protein (e.g. meat, beans), complex carb (e.g. rice, tortilla, chips), simple carbs (fruit, juice, soda). If you are "starving," flip the order of priority (start with a simple sugar [e.g. regular soda, not diet] & go from there
STILL HAVE ?s
HOW??? JK. Ask it & someone will get around to answering it... eventually. I hope. 🤞🙏😆

Read moreStopped at TB in San Tan Valley, AZ today and they not only got our order wrong once, but TWICE after I went in for them to fix it two times. I went through the drive thru to order a bean and rice burrito (ordered as cheesy bean and rice with NO CHEESE, hack to be cheaper) They put the cheese sauce In it anyway. I ordered a double decker taco fresco with black beans. They first put beef in it. So I took both items inside to have corrected. The second time they still put the cheese sauce in the bean and rice burrito after specifying just rice and beans without the cheese. My double decker was made with refried beans and not black beans- although on the receipt it states sub beef to black bean. The guy that made our food, idk if he was the manager, came over and argued with me about the double decker that it always comes with refried beans in the taco because black beans are an upcharge. I told him that's not true, because this is literally the only thing I order from TB. He said their register (although stating on receipt sub to black bean, which is auto from their register) that they only make it with refried beans and not black beans... Why would the receipt say sub to black beans if you're not going to use black beans??? I told him I've never had an issue with getting black beans in my tacos and he said "You must have gotten the same cashier every time and they didn't know!" Really dude, at every different TB I got to??? Your register would say sub to refried if you AUTOMATICALLY use refried beans. No, it says BLACK BEANS! Use black beans!! Then after telling him that they made the burrito with cheese twice after specifying NO CHEESE, he gave me an attitude as well. I should have asked for a gift card because this is the most ridiculous things I've had happen at TB. And to have the guy argue with me and tell me they don't use black beans when asked because it's an upcharge, which if its a substitution as stated on receipt, then its a sub, not an upcharge. Regardless, I asked for black beans and not refried beans and he refused to remake it because he said black beans are an uncharge which I didn't pay for. Kidding, right? Learn some customer service and also learn how to make a simple order right. No cheese means no cheese. black beans doesn't mean refried beans. Idk why it takes 3 tries to...
Read moreAs limited human contact with my order and credit card as they could possibly be, very innovative and impressive! I used the drive thru.
UPDATE: My next stop here was as opposite as can be. I ordered the vegetarian nachos bell grande and got ONLY meat, no beans.
So, I took it back and the drive-thru line was really long. I wasn't dressed to go inside, I just wanted my dinner corrected. So, I call the store from the parking lot. A female answered the phone, said she was the manager. She refused to bring a corrected one out as curbside pickup. She said either wait in the drive-thru line or come inside. I was upset and said, well I guess I'm waiting in the long line. But, I won't be coming back to this location.
SHE HUNG UP ON ME. The manager!
I can accept regular employees getting frustrated and acting that way, to a point. But the manager is supposed to set positive examples, be ultra-professional, calm the customer down, try to make things right, and do their best to not LOSE a paying customer. (I have a degree in Retail Management)
If I were her manager, I would first, see about getting her training in customer management. I would have a serious talk with her about management etiquette. If this wasn't her first time with issues, she'd be written up, demoted, or let go, depending on her history.
Normally, a store is only as good as their manager because it trickles down. But, regardless of her unprofessional behavior, when I got to the ordering speaker, the guy was wonderful. When I got to the window, it looked like a professional male was training the female at the window. He was calm, very professional, and telling her what to do so she could experience taking care of this, hands-on. He gave her two coupons to give to me for free food "with my next purchase." Now, that's how a professional tries not to lose a customer.
Yeah, it's Taco Bell, they can afford to lose a customer here or there. But, that's not the point, is it? The way I was treated by everyone else, after being hung up on by the manager, made me want to give them another chance. I just hope the manager's unprofessional attitude doesn't get to everyone else, bringing them down to a miserable level, seemingly like the female on the...
