Found this place on accident and it turned out to be better than expected. I was originally looking for a place that was open till at least 10(we were coming Cedar Point) and choose this restaurant initially because it had tacos, tequila, open till midnight and had at least a 4 star rating but what I got was worth a 5 star rating.. reasons below! 1) a "nice to have" was a place on the water, I didn't know it at the time but this place (while not right on the water) had an awesome outdoor area with a killer view of Erie. Although not the most seating in the world you go before or after the rush hours you should have no problem getting something outside. 2) the chips and salsa were fantastic! 3) the guacamole with goat cheese and honey was sooo unique and delicious. Owner, if you are reading this I would love the recipe! =) 4) the margs were awesome! They have a really good tequila selection and honestly very good prices. We tried a few different ones and they were all fantastic 5) the tacos were a smash! Not the largest tacos in the world but perfect size to crush 2 or 3. I got the carnitas (awesome), the steak (also really good and very simple), and honestly my favorite was the cheaper shredded chicken taco, it just had chicken, lettuce, pico and cheese, and it was something about how simple and flavorful everything was that made it my Favorite. 6) the churros were fantastic. Highly Recommend. 7) and finally.. the service was killer.. our waitress, Gabby I think, did a phenomenal job and made us feel part of the family. If/when I make it back up to this area I Will definitely be going back, even if out of My way!

Oh TAco: Trendy & Funky, but Disappointing I've visited Oh TAco a few times with friends, and unfortunately, my experiences have been inconsistent and ultimately disappointing. My first visit left a positive impression with excellent service and delicious crafted margaritas. The street tacos were decent, but the drinks were the highlight. However, my second visit for my birthday was a letdown. We waited 45 minutes for our first round of drinks, and the quality was noticeably lower than my previous experience. The food was just okay, and the service felt rushed. On my last visit, we decided to try a full dinner. The drinks arrived faster this time and were good, but the food was a major disappointment. It didn't taste authentically Mexican, and three out of four of us got sick afterward. Overall, Oh TAco's trendy and funky atmosphere is appealing, but the inconsistent service and subpar food quality have left a negative impression. It's unfortunate because this place has potential, but until they improve the food and service, I'll be skipping it on my future visits to Sandusky.

What a nice little spot. We got in just before the kitchen was closing. Turns out the chef had already left for the night but luckily for us our bartender and the Hotel front desk attendant were able and willing to get our meal prepared. What a treat! The lobster empanada was perfectly prepared and full of meat. Sooo many taco choices to choose from. We ended up with the fish taco and man that was good too. The Philly torta was cooked to perfection with caramelized onions and melted cheese oozing out from under the bun. Served with a side salad , it was a delicious meal. This place had quite the draft beer menu and an even larger offering of specialty drinks. If you want tequila , they have plenty of that to choose from as well. Overall a great spot for a drink and some good food. Our bartender went above and beyond by preparing our meal, that makes a great impression. We will certainly make a point to return during our travels.

Boy do I wish we had chosen a different restaurant. We passed a ton of casual fast chains, but wanted to go somewhere local. One of the worst service experiences I have had in years. We were seated at a table on the bar side, so our server was one of the bartenders. She was so unpleasant when taking our order, didn’t seem to know anything about the menu, and never once checked on us. We never got the water we asked for with our drinks. We never got any napkins or silverware. We asked for some when our food came out, but never saw that person again. I have a gluten allergy and my street tacos that the server told me would be corn tortillas were on flour. Eventually we got tired of trying to flag someone down and went to the side of the bar to look for napkins. Our server finally noticed us and brought napkins and forks. I pointed out that my order came out incorrectly and she said she’d have them remake it. We asked for water again . I waited another 15 minutes for my tacos and my son waited for water because his tacos were spicy and he needed something to wash them down with. My tacos came out on corn tortillas, but they were not street tacos and were served with a wet slaw of some sort. Not what I ordered. We never got any water. I really wanted to just walk out. It took us about 10 mins to get the server’s attention to get the check and we again had to go to the bar to get it. In addition to the non-existent service, the food was not very good. Honestly, my remade tacos were gross, but I picked out the meat because I was starving. Needles to say, we will...

The seating was self seating. The drinks came fast but incomplete to the order missing 2 drinks till a second request. Drink were very good. Bar tender knew how to make a great drink. The waitress took our order from memory. When order showed up it was all messed up with items on things they were requested to not be on. No silverware or napkins to be found. 3 of 5 meals were cold 2 of them were the big a$$ burritos one with steak one without. One was a taco bowl. The steak was criminally under seasoned and overcooked. The chicken was almost not present on the other. They are a 4 and 6 dollar upcharge. They were so cold that the queso was hard over the whole burrito. The rice inside was 80 percent the filling and may have had a shaker of salt passed over it at some point but no real seasoning. When brought to the waitresses attention she got the chef. He and I quote said "what do you want me to do about it heat it up or something" I answered "not really it's already stone cold" his response "ok whatever" and walked away. The waitress said she would take care of it. The food was not eaten but left on the plates the checks came and we were fully charged for them. I asked I thought this was taken care of she stated I am not authorized to comp you that. After some time she was able to remove them from the check. A tip was still left for the...
