This is a traditional place that is what I consider a fish fry. You'll get nice healthy options for fish but they are not a good restaurant. I have food sensitivities and allergies and they were not accommodating nor helpful whatsoever. I was able to have a baked haddock. On my plate I had very few options because of my allergies. They were not willing to even give me a vegetable. They wanted to upcharge me $3. So I paid for a haddock plate definitely over what good restaurants charge. $20 for a piece of fish. The stuffing was absolutely disgusting. It is equal to whatever they scoop out of a container and put on anything that is considered stuffed. I actually got sick from that consistency. I did question whether the person that took my order didn't do a good job following my order through my allergies. I am possibly certain that the mistake is in that stuffing.
I will say if you like traditional anything fried with fish you'll probably like it there. The staff that takes your order definitely needs more training. This is the McDonald's of fish fry. You'll get everything that you want at this place. But they will not be considerate towards any needs towards your food allergies. You get what you get and that's it. I scored it 3⭐ because other people enjoyed their meals this day. If it was just up to me I would rate it a 2⭐.
And I had to make mention because it's so surprising to say that a lobster roll is $25 but an extra large lobster roll is $45... Not worth it at all. Go to a nicer place if you're willing to spend $45 on a lobster roll. This is not the place to do it.

Read moreLocated a parking lot away from the Cape Cod Visitor Center (you can walk), we walked over to Seafood Sam's because our relatives recommended it.
You can either order at the counter, then pick up your order, stop at the drinks and condiments location, then go sit at a table or outside. Or if you prefer to be served, you can sit at the bar, and the bartender can take your order and you can enjoy their special cocktails or drinks while you wait. The decor and dress is casual - shorts and T-shirt is fine.
Excellent fried clam strips. The tartar sauce had just the right pickle bite. Best of all, you can get clam strips in three sizes - a full platter, a sandwich or as a small plate. I got the small plate which I got with a baked potato! I probably got a little more clams strips then would come on a sandwich. On our return trip, I got the clam strip platter. Picture attached. I had enough to take some clams and fries home with me.
Their lobster roll ($24) was excellent for the price. Lots of good size lobster hunks in a big, toasted bun. I got that with French fries. The French fries were nice and hot, fresh, and really good.
My husband had the baked haddock which he got with fries and he liked it. The couple next to us ordered the fried chicken. Apparently, their fried chicken is semi-famous - moist, crisp. I was impressed at the nice side of macaroni and cheese, biscuit. I think they got a 3 pieces, and it was enough food to share.
On our return trip, we noted the the drink specials were really reasonably priced - $7. My drink was not too strong, but that was fine since it was just something different to enjoy with dinner...
Read moreI came across this restaurant in 2015 while vacationing with my dad. My dad was craving a lobster roll and Seafood Sam’s was right down the street from where we were staying. I remember it so well. When I took a day trip to the Cape yesterday, I said to my BF I need to find that place my dad and I went to. My dad has since passed, so when we pulled in, I’m not going to lie I did get teary. Our vacation to the Cape that year was the last one for my dad. The place outside was exactly how I remembered it. When I got inside it looked renovated because I didn’t recognize it at all. The atmosphere is so cute. They have a small bar there and a place to order your food and sit wherever you want. My friend got the lobster roll, and he said “no wonder why your dad enjoyed this, it just melts in your mouth and hits all your taste buds. “ I don’t eat seafood, so I got the hotdog. I must say, it’s the best hotdog I’ve had in a long time. We shared the French fries and onion rings. Those were delicious as well. We got two Coors light in honor of my dad. The view was so pretty. You could see the Cape Cod canal from the restaurant. The service was amazing too. The lady ringing in the food was so polite and energetic. All the memories of having lunch with my dad came flooding back to me and I started to cry happy tears. It was the perfect day and I know he was shinning down on me.
If you are ever in the area you must go to Seafood Sam’s, I’m telling you, you won’t be...
