I came into this Chipotle for the "Friends BOGO" valid 7/6. I came into the restaurant by myself at 3:45pm. When I walked up to the counter, I asked to redeem the "Friends BOGO" promotion. I was intending on purchasing 1 bowl and receiving 1 free. The staff prepared my two bowls for me without any hesitation. At checkout, I told the cashier I was redeeming the promotion, making sure to say the exact phrasing mentioned in the email sent by Chipotle corporate. He told me I could not redeem it because I did not physically bring a friend in. However, the corporate email says the only requirement to redeem the offer is to mention the "Friends BOGO" phrasing at checkout with no mentions about bringing someone in. The cashier referred me to his manager. The manager then repeated that I could not redeem the deal because I had come in alone. I offered to show the email from corporate and he said his store sent out a different email with details specifying that customers needed to bring a friend in. He could not show me this email he was referring to. Since I was already there, I had to ask a friend nearby to drive over to be my proof of "friend", taking time out of my and now her day. Whether Chipotle needs consistent messaging or better local management, I am reluctant to support businesses that do not follow their own terms and conditions clearly stated in their promotions.
UPDATE: Contacted corporate Chipotle via instagram and they confirmed that you do not need to bring anyone in for this promotion. So only go here if you want to...
Read moreThe only reason I'm giving this store five stars is because of Aaron! Normally when I come in I am served with an attitude and looked down upon. I come and get the same thing everytime my girlfriend normally just gets extra, extra rice and cheese. I normally get extra, extra rice tofu or chicken and cheese yet when I ask for extra rice. They look at me like your fat you don't need any extras I always feel worthless after leaving there. Not today when I came in today for the first time I felt like a normal person. Aaron asked could he help me and I thought he was going to be mean like the other workers that normally take my order. I have never been more hurt then by the staff at this Chipolte normally when all staff are rude it is a seed that takes over the whole store. Yet this day I was surprised and I will never forget how happy Aaron made me feel for being a fluffy that loved extra rice. Hopefully after this review the manager makes sure that their staff knows how they make bigger people feel when they get a attitude when people ask for extras. I hope their staff learns to just do their job like Aaron an when people ask for extra rice or items they put it in the bowl...
Read moreThere is always way to little protein placed on your food and an overwhelming amount of grains and vegetables to drown out the food. The food isn't bad it's just not a fair portion of proteins when you're paying a great price for your meal. This is the ONLY location that has a 4oz or less portion of protein but a heaping helping of everything else. If I was a vegan or vegetarian, it would be heavenly! But I'm a meat-a-rian or a protein-aholic, if you see the portion is quite small and say something they do not even offer to sell you a double portion they just keep making to small portion and ignore your request. Then when asking for a manager I'm told that her GM says the portions are what they are and that's it. I've been to other locations and their portions of proteins seem to be different than this location.
If you're a vegan or vegetarian, please enjoy this location. However, if you like your proteins you will need to go elsewhere in order to get them!
