I am a 50 year old male . I was just there today 4/16/24 for a chicken Philly and experienced disrespect, discrimination, and unprofessional behavior from a female that was light skin who stated she was the manager. (I have been a customer at this location for over 6 years). I was asked to pay before my food was done and a Caucasian male who was next to me on the phone like me ordered and was not asked to pay for his food first but I was. I responded I will wait till the food is done, and then I was asked did I want any toppings and the female who said she was a manager that looked like Hispanic did not change her gloves she used to touch pork, she touched the register, and then she touched the pickles. I informed I had food allergies and she asked me what was pork. She put the same pickles back in the pickle container, then changed her gloves and questioned me for having food allergies as if she was a specialiist in human behavior, and I spoke to her politely and then she was rude and I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to her manager and she said her manager was her mom and dad and I walked out. This person needs to be fired. I went to McDonald's . I am a specialist in human behavior and would not do that to no one. No one deserves to work hard at work and get off ready to eat be treated different because of my melanin in my skin and then disrespected I am at least twice this ladies age. This place...
Read moreI love their subs, big fan, but this location has horrible customer service. Went in right when they opened, I'm the ONLY person. Three people working behind the counter on a huge To-Go order and I can see boxes and boxes of subs ready to go.
Here's the rub, one person looks up at me and says "it will be 15-20min. before they can take my order". What?
I get the Covid thing, although I honestly don't understand why there is a labor shortage, but that's another topic. This restaurant and others need to stop using Covid as an excuse and start managing better their people and customers.
As a walk-in customer I should receive PRIORITY ONE. It would not have killed any of them, nor slowed them as NO ONE was there but me. Meaning who ever was picking up the To-Go orders were not there waiting, etc.
One of the 3 should have stopped on the assembly line they had going and said "what can I get you" and made my sandwich instead of telling me I will have to wait 20 minutes.
Will I go back? NEVER! I was treated rudely and I am tired of places like this being mismanaged and lack of focus on a positive in person...
Read moreI went when they first opened up and the service was great. I have gone twice in this current week and the service was very slow. 1st time i went this week and it was slow and the meat to lettuce ratio in my bowl was off and i went today slow again & i get the same thing . I order extra meat just to even it out. The lettuce was lite. I wanted to watch the kid make my salad to make sure it was being done correctly but being rushed to check out. I asked for my bowl to be done Mikes way but as i am checking out notice him putting mayo on my salad. He didn’t take it out he just stopped and put the lid on and handed me the bowl . The checkout girl i asked for my purchase to be bagged she proceeds to hand me a sub bag for me to bag myself then i asked for the proper bag and she gives it too me without bagging minus the utensils. I love Jersey Mike’s but I am going on a break from this location. Being consistent with your service is major . I do not mind paying for whatever I am ordering but the service needs to be up to par . Not to mention the bunched up line. We are still...
