Las Tortas Locas — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

As a person that grew up eating Mexican food i dont expect this places to remind me of a home cooked meal. However, the food here is tolerable if you are looking for something mediocre at a decent price point. Below are some pictures of my Mexican torta with "Avocado" and "Queso fresco". Both items were barely smeared on the torta. The key ingredient of a torta is the bread, it needs to be warmed and/or grilled a bit on the inside. As you can see from the photo it would have been better to have eaten this on sand paper. Customer service was okay but nothing out of this world. I may give this place a second try in a few years once i have forgotten this...

Food is great, sometimes. Service is bad, all of the time. Really wanted to leave a better review but this is my 5th or 6th time coming to this restaurant and the waitresses NEVER friendly and the service is always bad. Its definitely because I’m a different race. NOT COOL AT ALL!! People who are the same race as those working are greeted and welcomed. SMH. We are all human and my money spends the same way. the food is alright not that great to be honest, they have pick up service and tell you over the phone that its ready in 10 minutes, thats a lie i called ahead and drove there only to find out they only start making your food once you pay... whats the point? i was waiting there for almost 25 minutes before my order was ready, i asked for salsa verde and they didnt have any either what mexican restaurant doesnt have any? it was only 2PM its not like they get 1000+ customers before that time smh, next time i will opt to go elsewhere or just another location i was very disappointed with...
