*First of all, they cannot take criticism without getting defensive and deleting my review on Yelp! Pathetic! I have heard it is not the 1st time they did that
Antfarm, keep listening to those who blow smoke up your a** and continue ignoring criticism. Also, keep in mind that people who have complaints normally won't say it in person anyway. But if you prefer to be shady and delete bad Yelp reviews, then it is up to you,but you and your bad practice have been exposed.
Do not go there, just don't. We used to go there a lot with a friend who loved this place,so I have eaten there a hundred times. All in all, their food is below mediocre, they would never survive in a big city. Small portions, overprices. Save your money and buy some products to make a sandwich at home. You are better off getting your burrito at some other chain places, too. Their tortillas are kept frozen, then they thaw them...same thing with the soups, yes, they thaw soups out every morning!!!! Pathetic!!!! They call the chicken in the salad fresh, but it is not as it comes in frozen, then they thaw it,too... The meats come in frozen, they thaw them, slice, weigh and freeze...then take them out and thaw AGAIN....If you expect a fresh sandwich, well, you won't find one here. Bagels? Frozen as well and baked every morning. Does it make them fresh? Absolutely not. There is not such thing as fresh frozen,Antfarm! Bread is chewy & if you are ordering a gluten free sandwich,it will break as soon as you touch it. Vegetables are not fresh (same story with the potato in the burritos), salads often look wilted. Coffee is ok,but nothing amazing, sometimes,it is too sweet. Pastries are not good. Go to Tollagate for an excellent muffin or another pastry because Antfarm's muffins are very bland and scones are dry, though, they are not not cheap. Definitely do not go for a business lunch because you may not get your food in 30 minutes or more. We have left a few times, even though,we had paid for our meals, but we couldn't wait any longer! Another reviewer mentioned the furniture. It is old and gross, mismatching and just disgusting,it was probably donated by different people or organizations. The staff is not friendly,especially,waitresses..btw,same people cook and waiter for a minimal wage,no wonder they are not excited...
Read moreI went here with my grandma and her brother and they both had amazing things to say about this place before we arrived, about how this restaurant is great because it hires and trains teens and people who aren't sure what they want to do yet and give them a ton of options, I at first assumed this would just be along the lines of servers, cashiers, and cooks however as I learned when I was there they actually also offer some camps/classes for other professions. For example I saw something about mechanic training. My uncle got a BLT and said it was good, my grandma got some soup and said it was amazing and perfectly salty, my sister got a grilled cheese and liked how stringy the cheese was when she pulled it apart, and I got the black bean burger and some potato salad, I tried the potato salad first and it wasn't bad but it was a little too oniony for my taste, my burger however was very well seasoned and the tomatoes added a nice juiciness to it, I also added ketchup and mayo and I personally believe it was better with the condiments but you could easily eat it without due to the high intensity flavor of the burger. Plus lunch was only about $45 for...
