We had a few "bumps" in the road with problem padding and then my having too outdated ideas likes and dislikes.... BUT... Our salesman, Ken, was extremely professional, understanding, helpful and very quick to get to the bottom of things. He was in our home less than 30 mins of my call to report there possible being problems with color I'd chosen, then later with the padding. I'd chosen a much darker color after having very light oatmeal color 20 years. For me it was shocking to have such a drastic change... Now keep in mind that our first home had avocado greens and harvest golds, and painted mushrooms on the kitchen cabinet doors that were the rage to die for! So change isn't easy for me and light color carpet in a home out in the country is a bit silly and impossible to keep clean. Ken brought out color samples along with other carpet fabrics to share with me and helped calm my fears. We love, love LOVE our new carpet and couldn't have made a better choice in the color as well as the weight of the pile/fabric, My bad as I over-reacted....I'm older, so my taste are a bit outdated... but thank goodness for Kens help! We have a large Tri-level home and needed just the lower level carpets replaced after our accident prone old dog finally died. So now, our entire lower level/ downstairs looks soooo beautiful! but thats not all because we're so in love with the new colors that we've decided to re-carpet the entire house with same exact carpet. Just hope its not pouring down rain when it comes time to install the upstairs levels....cant wait until this is all done as our home is going to be most beautiful home in the area! Sandy Decor is at the top of our list for sure! I promise that you won't be sorry if you choose these awesome folks. You may find this same carpet for a few dollars less, but in the long run, you'll never find anyone better than them should there be any problems! And believe me, its well worth their prices! Great selection of materials and finishes. We had wanted to use a local business to support the community that our vacation cabin is located near. The Sales people were informative and friendly. The installation job was done. The project management on our project was lackluster and we felt we weren't listened to when giving important design and access information. Every time an installer came, they had to call us because they weren't given the right directions to the cabin or the access code. We also had to go over the scope of work several times with the installers. The installers were great and did really good work! There is a definite disconnect between store personnel and their installers. I would purchase from Sandy Decor again, but not have them coordinate installation. I only leave this review because I used to work in the design and construction industry for 20 years and know how things should be done, especially for such a small job as ours was for our cabin. As always, we will continue to support small businesses...

I’m new to the area & wanted to support a local business up near Mt Hood. I found this lovely shop. I was not a big spender & only needed one small room of carpet.

I was beyond pleasantly surprised that instead of trying to upsell me on the most expensive type of carpet in the house, they quickly showed me carpet remnants which they had in the back since my room is so small. I was able to end up with high quality wool carpet for a very fair price for both product & installation! I had my carpet installed within a two-week window.

Everyone I dealt with from sales to installation were totally professional. Sandy Decor offers flooring and window treatments as well as backsplash etc. I will definitely call on them in the future when I need more work done in my new home. I would absolutely recommend their...
