Getting worse every time I go there. Every time I go, something new happens to make me more disappointed. I used to LOVE this location but now.. it started with staff not wearing gloves, then they started ignoring the LONG lines of customers inside of the restaurant to gather in-mass the orders from phone, online, and drive-thru when people are standing there for a half hour+. Most people just get out of line and leave now. Then, I asked about an allergy specification and the girl I was talking to said, "We advise that people with allergies just don't eat here." Sometimes they're nice but most of the time now they're rude, snippy, impatient, and just generally annoyed by any question or additions to the order. If I ask for Chopsticks, sauce, or anything else, they act annoyed that I didn't just take my food and leave. They also will start doing whatever they THINK I'm asking for before I finish. For example, I'll say, "Can I get 2 sets of chopsticks and--" they'll move to get the chopsticks and then act annoyed when I also ask for sauce because I had to ask for them separately and now I'm afraid to ask for fortune cookies, oh, and my receipt. It's nerve racking to have them act irritated when I'm just trying to get some dinner for the night.. My mom has ME always order for her because they're so rude when she asks questions. The food changes every time we go and is hit or miss nowadays. Definitely not always worth the 20-30 minute line. The final nail though, I started feeling like they weren't giving me enough rice and when we went yesterday my suspicions were confirmed. They said they can't give more sauce because they're "trying to make it last" and they're barely giving you the portions you pay for. Their prices have gone up not down so why am I paying for way less with way more money? Bonus, they barely clean their tables and you can tell the grease hasn't been cleaned out all day for the food. The rice is crunchy nowadays and I just don't think I can go there anymore which hurts because they used to be...
Read moreThis location from Panda Express is like going on two to three incredible dates with someone. Everything was perfect, but all the subsequent dates are terrible. You keep going on dates hoping they will have gone back. After a time, you realize you can't give them any more chances, and they are not the person you hoped they would be, and it is time to move on.
These are the reasons why. Their orange chicken used to be so good. It was rich in flavor. This location it is bland. One time there, I ate something else to see if I had Covid and lost my taste buds, or was it their food. It was the orange chicken. The test item was full of flavor. Their beijing beef did not fare any better. Their chowmein was the only item that I liked. Yes, I discovered Joshua Wiseman's orange chicken, but it was not that good to make their food seem tasteless in comparison.
Their service can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are short and just want you to get the food and leave. They look visibly agitated when you ask for extra soy sauce. Other times they are all smiles. All marketers and business owners will tell you that consistency is best.
As you can see from a lot of my reviews, I hate and hardly ever give a bad review. I prefer not to leave one, but this place needs one.
I give it two stars remembering at one time it was five stars, but now should only be a one or two stars, but I'll have the memories of much...
Read moreThe only reason for this 5 star is for the employee who was working tonight (10/2/2021). He was working at the drive thru and had asked me to pull out front to wait for the rest of our order.
He noticed that my eyes were swelling with tears (due to a very emotionally challenging day) and asked if I would like a water cup while I waited and I said yes, but he was sweet and offered to give me a fountain drink instead. But the water was perfect. That small little thing meant a lot to me.
We drove around to the front and he brought out our food. Of course I had started bawling while driving away from the drive thru and was wiping my tears away and he asked me if I was okay.
He took two seconds out of his day to ask me if I was okay, and at that very moment I was because he was willing to sit with a complete stranger to make sure I was okay. He told me that he was having a rough day too and we just sat there and talked about it,, he was so vulnerable and my heart just wanted to hug him and I just wanted him to know that I appreciate his kindness and to always, always know that those little things can be such a beautiful thing for someone who isn't having the best day.
Please show this employee all the love!! I did not get his name, and I wish I did. He did mention that he lives in orem. So hopefully that...
