If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I use to work at a bbq restaurant and buffet and have also ate at plenty idk how this place is in business. Walked in to be ignored and not greeted on a not so busy night and then finally seated in a dark booth no big deal I got over it thinking the food would be great because it has a 4.2 star rating. Go to the buffet and the food looked great but the chopped pork was cold and sour The fried chicken was dry and over cooked green beans tasted as if they just poured out of can and not heated up Mac and cheese was chalky and under cooked. I’m not kidding y’all I never take the time to do a review but the food was horrible! Not to mention the carpeted floors were filthy I felt so sick sitting there my husband and I got up not finishing anything on our plate and paid $30 when I was told the buffet is 10.99 including a drink well that was a lie. Hopefully the owners straighten things out with their cooks and whoever buses/cleans the floors because no one needs to make the same mistake we did tonight by coming...

The deductions are due to the condition of the facility and the lack of customer service from the buffet line servers and the cashier.
I was very pleased with the private room and the size which accommodated the group that I was with. I enjoyed the fried foods, however, the vegetables were not too my liking overall.
Again, I emphasize on the poor attitude that was displayed by the two young ladies behind the buffet bar. There's a way to speak to people and they failed at it. The cashier should work on her tone and delivery as some of her words were abrasive.
I must say that our server in the private room was phenomenal and she took good care of us regarding our drinks and other small things provided to go...
Read moreI am someone who loves BBQ. I've been to many places in my life. 53 years old. Smithfield Chicken N BBQ, Parker's (Wilson), McCall's (Goldsboro), Stubbs and Sons, Wilber's (Goldsboro). I just had takeout from Ron's: BBQ plate, potatoes, baked beans, a few hushpuppies. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. For $9.99 a plate. Whoever's preparing and cooking it is doing fantastically. It couldn't be any better. The BBQ. Of the 3-4 places in Sanford that serve BBQ, Ron's is ahead of them all. Good value, too. I had some leftovers a few minutes ago. I love great restaurants & we will visit them occasionally for the cue and also very good country cooking. You can't go wrong if you visit here or get takeout. ...
